Mason Street Grille — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

Mason Street Grille is a bar with a kitchen by Lake Hopatcong with great lake views, terrific bar food, smooth yet lively atmosphere, and some incredible cocktails!

I have dined inside, eaten outside by the lake, and taken food & drinks to go. All of my experiences have been better than satisfactory.

I recommend this spot to anyone who wants a quick beer on tap, a well put together cocktail, or a better than usual bar meal.

As far as food, the appetizers are inspired and tasty. The entrees are above your average bar. My friend recommends the honey garlic pork chops. Another friend of mine recommends the mini burgers, fried pickles, and blue "Byram" bucket beverage. I only rated the food at Mason Street Grille 4 out of 5 stars as a challenge to their kitchen to expand its menu because the food is so good!

This bar is also family friendly. Bring the kiddos and take a picture of them in the super-sized beach chair with the beautiful Lake Hopatcong background! Tell the staff that Tesla News Tonight sent you.

So first off the parking lot is horrible. No one knows how to park so it is just a cluster of cars all over. We get there and pick to be seated outside (it was a sunday night) and it takes us 20 minutes to even get asked what we want to drink. It was NOT busy what so ever. We waited another 15 minutes for our drinks, which for a bar were horrible. The beer was flat, the long island iced tea was like rubbing alcohol I couldn't even finish it. They put so much ice in the soda's that you take two sips and it is gone. We wait another 20 minutes for our food which was not great at all and there was a dead bug lying on top of one of our meals. They gave a new meal but still charged us the normal price. we got our bill and after our cards were swiped and we left we realized that we were charged almost 30 dollars more than what our bill said. we had to go back to get it refunded.

All in all I will not be returning...

Yesterday we decided to go to Lake Hopatcong State Park for an awesome festival! The people, the community, the atmosphere were awesome! Built up a appetite and decided to go to Mason Street Grille! What can I say but fantastic food , fantastic atmosphere, fantastic staff ( Carly ) and a great owner named ( Bob)! Bob went above and beyond and offered and took my family out for a sunset cruise on beautiful Lake Hopatcong! Who does that? I tell you who does that, a real gentleman named Bob!
