Fat Clarence's Pub and Grub — Restaurant in Jerome

Fat Clarence's opened just as the pandemic started and we shut down everything. This business has overcome so many hardships. When they first opened I got to go orders many times to support them and the food was incredible. When they were able to open their dining room I enjoyed many, many fabulous meals. My personal favorite is the Buben burgers It's a Wonderful take on a burger/ruben sandwich one of my very favorites. We have very limited selection on site down restaurants in Jerome and it was really nice to have someone come in with a different take. Everybody loves a good pub plus everybody loves an amazing Burger and this place gives us that. Recently this business has seen another trial in very poor taste a fellow business owner in the community has decided to launch a full out attack on this wonderful business. Please disregard all of Bridget Hoppers comments and if you see any other comments posted remember she has friends too. Give this wonderful business a chance they serve amazing food and cook everything from scratch. Don't let the bullies...

Something has changed since the last time I was there. Tonight was the first bad experience I've had in the short time I was a patron. Menu and drinks were prompt. Food was fairly quick to arrive. But the quality was very poor. I'm not sure if it was the nasty taste of the old oil used in the fryer or what. Then there was some music that played in the kitchen area, and that was fine. I was able to have a conversation with others at the table until someone decided to flip the speaker around and turn the volume way too loud. Waited quite a while for a refill as all employees seemed to be in the far back of the kitchen area, having a great time laughing and giggling like no customers were in the restaurant. I'm sad to say that I will never come back. Over herd, a gentleman saying he was going to Twin because of an item he wanted was out. I think I will have to go check out Twins...

My 2 stars is because they ALWAYS messed up on my order. Food is good but really annoying to order take out and they don't give you the right food. I ordered from here 4 times and everytime they got my order wrong. Either my kids didn't get tots and fries instead (which are the only thing that I've had from here that aren't good) or I ordered an appetizer, wings and got fries instead. I didn't check the food my first time and after they got it wrong the second 2 times I checked. The last time my husband didn't check Every box and the one he didn't check was wrong. I would like to add everytime we went they were fast and weren't packed. The staff and food are good.
