Grilled Cheese Gangsters Food Truck — Restaurant in Jersey Township

Omg, this was the best experience I’ve had with a food truck EVER!! I go to A LOT of food trucks!! But by far the best service at any! Me and 3 of my friends where at combustions Brewing and taproom, then my Husband had stoped by after work to grab something! The food was good, I have definitely had better but it was still really good! prices were definitely a bit high in my opinion, but not horrible. The staff on the other hand… was AMAZING!!! There were three people in the truck working constantly and hard to get food out fast! The lady who took my order was amazing she was super friendly and sweet and made sure everything was correct and tasted great when we got our food! She was even bouncing back and forth from the window to wherever she was needed, but making sure not to leave people waiting at the window for to long!

I was lucky enough to get all three of their names! The lady who took my order’s name was Lexi/wiggles, she said there was multiple Lexi‘s so the best way to review was to call her wiggles! which I LOVEEE!!! She was so sweet and kind! Every question I asked she had a answer for and was ON TOP of everything!! The lady that was cooking, her name was Abby, she made sure everything was done nice and neat! Made the sandwiches looked FIREE!! She made sure to get everything out super quick even know they had a Million orders!! She was also super sweet!!! The guy doing the tater tots was Greg, he was super cool, he made sure every thing looked amazing and fancy!! He made sure to get the tots out as soon as the sandwiches where done so everything was HOT AND FRESHHH!!!! He was also super sweet and kind!

I had been at the Grilled cheese truck one other time earlier this year and the workers definitely where not as friendly and top notch and these three where Thursday night!!! If I had my own truck I would definitely want them as my crew! They where like a dream team!! Watching them work together and how steady and consistent with the orders they where was almost mesmerizing!!

This truck was set up as part of the Perry County Food Truck Summer. My family was looking forward to eating here. However, that did not happen. They were scheduled to be there from 11 to 2. We got there around 11:30 and there is a line, no big deal. We get told they are making online orders first, again no big deal. It became a big deal however when we waited outside in the 95 degree weather for 45 minutes to be told they had more online orders and it would be 10 to 15 minutes before they started taking in person orders. 15 minutes later we're told there are 35 (Thirty. Five.) more online orders in line. I don't blame the two working, they were just doing their jobs. I blame the very bad business strategy and the way it seems to be enforced.

Several people who made online orders left and asked for refunds because it was so badly ran today. We even heard them talking about running out of bread so they would have to make people wait so someone could bring them more.

If you focus on online orders, then state that somewhere. Not everyone knows what they want before they arrive, and this time it ended up in three people leaving hungry and very, very disappointed. With an Autistic child who loves Mac and cheese and grilled cheese, that's very hard to reconcile.

I found this food truck at Forth Friday in Westerville and I’m very happy I did! I got the Al Capone grilled cheese and Gangster Tots. The grilled cheese was pretty good but it was just American cheese on white bread. It had pulled pork on it which was very tasty though I’m not sure it’s worth the $11 I paid for it. The Gangster Tots however, were amazing. This place has frying tots down to a science because they were golden brown, delectably crispy and not greasy at all. They were topped with green onions and a tangy yum yum sauce that went great together. The only complaint I had was how little sauce was on them cause it was so yummy! I waited about 20min for my grilled cheese but business was booming. Overall I’m very satisfied with my visit and would totally get them again if...
