Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Jersey Village

Its popeyes. I been to the location multiple times. They'll get you what they order, however you need to check just in case.

Quality of chicken, just like every other popeyes in Houston.

Update: 8/15/21 Mac and cheese is not good enough Fries are at a "its fries" quality Biscuits still yummy Spicy chicken sandwich is a pretty delicious sandwich, especially over the classic.

#not-an-ad Use the mobile app for rewards, definitely worth it if you go once a week. Kinda sucks to use it though when going through drive through, since you have to order on the app first.

Update 4/16/22

Ordered 2 spicy chicken sandwiches, fries, and a mac n cheese.

Mac n cheese is still at the quality of "alright" Fries are still its fries quality. However the most abysmal thing of all was they killed the spicy chicken sandwich at this location, the skin of the meat was pretty dry (which probably means it was sitting there for longer then it should or it was fried too long), to little sauce.

So overall I will not be coming back to this location and as a result will rate this down to 2 as the reason this review was originally a 5 is because of the biscuits and the chicken sandwich. Can't be a good chicken place if the chicken is either overcooked or too old to be serve to customers.

Edit: 2/23/25 Well I was emotionally back then, just gotta accept that sometimes Popeyes is an L and a W... This location...

Newer Location is good overall the food is always fresh and hot , the only location in Houston that doesnt overcook their biscuits are perfect every time but they have fallen off a little they are starting to be EXTREMELY slow no matter the time definitely avoid the location once the high school behind it let out its full of wild kids and even slower wait times. Also another thing that i did not like , they gave me the wrong side item and instead of the young lady discarding the item especially with COVID going around she took the side and threw it back under the light and gave me the correct side that was cold and sitting under the light. Please train your front line to protect customers and transmission of COVID 19 by not recycling food items if given to the customer incorrectly throw it away! And also the last thing is when i walked in there were at least 15 associates and not one person greeted me until maybe 5 mins later when the young lady cross contaminated my food! So thats another area of learning and training opportunity in customer service. Would like to keep patronizing but twice ive been and it hasnt been the best experience that i remember when you...

Went through the drive through and ordered the Spicy chicken combo with an additional side of red beans and rice and a raspberry cheesecake pie. The chicken in the sandwich was tough. I could not bite through it. I called and spoke with someone that was completely rude. I asked if I could come back and get a freshly made sandwich and was told that I don’t have to yell because she didn’t make my order. I was taken back by her comment because I did not yell but there was plenty of noise in her background and she at first said she could not hear me. Come to find out, she was the manager. I have never had such an unprofessional person as her self in any food establishment that I have visited. I have been to this location about 3 other times. I will no longer visit this location and drive a bit further if I decide to eat at Popeyes in the future. Her response was totally uncalled for and she didn’t even come from the back when I arrived to pick up my replacement sandwich. All other staff was polite and understanding. She really needs to be aware of how she handles customers in the future and might need more...
