US China Express — Restaurant in Jersey Village

Not sure why this place has good reviews. I came here for the first time. It looks like a hole in the wall type of place but sometimes those are the best so I gave it a shot. Awful. Awful decision. Id rather have just kept my money. I told the girl at the counter I was going to dine in. She handed me a packet of papers and said I order there at the counter. I was going to order orange chicken but she recommended jalapeño chicken and stated it was their best so I agreed. I also asked for wonton soup. They dont have fountain drinks. They only have can or some bottles. So I grabbed a can brisk. When my food was done, she yelled my order out so I looked back and seen she was talking about mine. Instead of bringing it to me, I had to go to her and get it. They served all of my food at the same time and in to go boxes. They even have a trash can by the door for me to throw away the trash afterwards. So why did I just pay a tip then if she's not even acting like a waitress? The fried rice was bland so I only ate a few bites. The wonton soup which is usually my favorite tasted like colored, dirty water. Been getting lunch here for over a year now. They haven't let me down once. They have paper menus always available, so you can take one and call ahead next time. Meals are always ready within 15 minutes, and the food is great. The building is a little old, but generally they keep it pretty clean. It's family owned and operated, so please be patient...
