Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Jerseyville

I have always loved DQ but lately they haven’t been doing too hot…I’ve gotten raw chicken strips 3 times within the last 6 months. The first time I didn’t check because I have never had an issue with DQ and ended up getting food poisoning but the next 2 times I did check and they were pink. I have given this place many chances to correct their mistakes but there is absolutely no excuse for having raw chicken strips 3 times in 6 months! So many people can get sick from this and is completely unacceptable. I just went today to get a blizzard and there was no cheesecake pieces in it, which I asked for extra. I only eat cheeseburgers and fries from this place now and I love them but I can’t support a fast food restaurant that keeps putting out undercooked food. I hope they get their act together to start producing cooked and quality food. They’re always super quick which is nice but they should stop worrying about being quick and worry about actually fully cooking the food. I am not trying to judge anyone because I know food service is a hard job but they do need to pull themselves out of this issue before they start getting complaints. This place is very very disappointing! The manager who offered to remake our blizzards and wanted me to call her and let her know how they turned out , so I did and she didn’t like my answer , so she got very made at me and she told me she was. When my daughter went back up to have her remake them she told her no I’m not remaking them said I’m giving you your money because you guys complain every time you get one. I’m not sure what she is talking about but that has never happened!!! My daughter told her I use to make these and you are over mixing them and the lady said don’t you tell me how to do my job unless you have one. REALLY!!! Told her not to come back and every time my daughter tried to say something she would close the window then open it back up to keep yelling at her!! Came through drive thru at about 9:30 tonight on 4-14-18. Had to repeat ourselves 4 or five time trying to give our order and I believe we were speaking pretty loudly. When we go to the window we were handed our ice cream first which I felt was odd if we were going to be waiting on food. They then pulled us forward for "fresh fries". We waited for at least ten minutes pulled forward meanwhile my ice cream was starting to melt. Finally we got our food and drove the 3 minutes back to our house. When we started eating our fries were not warm, onions were on my sandwich which I asked not to be, and they didn't even fill my ice cream all the way up. I have worked fast food so I get it, but honestly our order was simple. Dont pull cars and tell them they are getting fresh fries and not give them, and definitely dont give ice cream to someone who is going to have to wait for food and short them on...
