Love Subway and have used this location as long as I can remember. In the last 6 months to a year I have had multiple issues. I have gotten bread with mold TWICE from this location. A friend of mine told them there was a bug in the bell peppers. They removed the bug and the bell pepper it was on. She requested they change the container out since there was no telling how long it had been in there and they told her no they had to use it. Now i understand being frugal and saving where you can but some things are just beyond that. "Eat Fresh" is literally your logo... and customer satisfaction comes above everything in my opinion. Last week, my husband and I really wanted a good chopped salad so we decided to give it one more shot. I dont just write restaurants off for small mistakes and petty things but for me this was the final straw.. We ordered chopped salads with extra chicken. The first thing that bothered me is she didn't even fill up the meat container and I was paying "EXTRA" for. I made a mental note but was gonna just let it slide. I asked for my toppings and bacon was one of them (cause bacon goes on salads right? lol) It will be an extra $1.50 for 2 strips of bacon. It's $8.00 for a basic salad, add $1.50 for bacon and then "extra" not really extra meat...all this for $11 or $12?! For a salad... I was aggravated but just told her to forget the bacon and was going to continue on but got down to the lettuce and its browning. (this is the 3rd time in a year i have went in and its been browned) So i told her never mind, that the lettuce was browning and I am not paying this amount for what i am getting. Read moreI think I know what a dogs rubber bone must feel like when you bite into it...hard and chewy! That was the Italian herb and cheese bread that wrapped my cold cut sandwich. This is the first time I've eaten at a subway here in Jesup since moving here in 23. The prices here are higher than anywhere else in Georgia I've been to get their subs. But they advertised a meal deal of the day so I finally walked in. My mistake! The worker was quick with my order once he finished the several calls ins he had. Rearly made eye contact and no smile. Just gave me options and set to work. Most of us still prefer friendly service but it's rare to find these days. Now in my truck I took a bite and realized the workout routine I was about to engage in. Lunch shouldn't be a trip to Planet Fitness! This bread clearly wasn't made fresh today. More like sometime last week and reheated with the intent to replicate the before mentioned rubber dog bone.
