Vann's BBQ — Restaurant in Jesup

I hate leaving reviews like this, but I always write with full transparency and honesty.....

I gave the food rating 2 stars because my husband enjoyed the all you can eat seafood buffet with crab legs.

I ordered a BBQ sampler and chicken fingers for my kids. We waited over 30 minutes for our food and had to ask about it. The chipped pork was ice cold when my food finally came out. I asked them if they typically serve it cold and they said no and took it. I'm assuming they microwaved it for 3 minutes because when they brought it back out it was scalding hot. My 2 ribs were rubbery and did not seem fresh. They felt and tasted like they were reheated multiple times. One of our chicken tenders came out ripped in half and looking like someone took a bite out of it. The server waited until we had 5 empty drinks before asking if we wanted refills. There were only two or three other parties dining indoors when we were there and they all recieved frequent service.

10 minutes into picking through my food and I feel like I'm going to puke.

We tried it once and that's it. My husband might come back for the seafood because the BBQ...

5-Star Catering Experience!

Vann’s catered an event for me and my husband’s 25th wedding anniversary and his 50th birthday, and we couldn’t have been more pleased. From start to finish, the owner, Mr. James, made sure we had exactly what we wanted on the menu. He even went above and beyond to get seasoned rice for us—and it was absolutely delicious!

Our guests could not stop raving about the food. The brisket was a crowd favorite—tender, flavorful, and gone in no time! We had more than enough food, with plenty for guests to take for a late-night snack.

I ordered 2 bbq sampler plates white. Me and my wife are regulars, we get the same thing everytime. Never eating here again! I will go to hog and bones or do it myself. First off there prices went up like crazy and for what I cant see! They messed my order up! I got home in ludowici the ribs were red! What i did eat made me vomit! So I called to complain they said come back tomorrow they would fix both plates. I was scared even eat it, but tell me why they served the same bs. Chicken skin wet and slimey with no smoke taste and dry! Ribs taste old just trash i tossed in the trash! If I were you I would stay far away! Whatever new cook they have he's garbage! Worse experience ever oh...
