Figaro's Pizza — Restaurant in John Day

I love Figaro's and they're ☆☆☆☆☆ in my book. I made a confusing mistake on my online order (I ordered a half cheese, half pepperoni with toppings on the pepperoni half, put in the comments to make sure half was cheese only but hadn't selected a left or right side for the final two toppings) and I'm working, so I had another staff member run down to order my daughter a personal cheese pizza. He mentioned what had happened and whoever was working argued that half was only cheese. That's the only reason I gave four stars for service this time. I could not get through on the phones without an instant busy signal so I'm assuming they were swamped tonight. I did eat the pizza still and didn't plan on exchanging it, it was my bad. Normally we order from Figaros every other week or so. Usually it is pretty speedy with polite customer service. Today we called at 7:45pm to order a pizza. We were under the impression that they closed at 9. With my first call, they placed me on hold where I sat for 7 minutes. For my our call they placed our order and said it would be ready in 25 minutes. This was at 7:55. We show up at 8:30. Admittedly a few minutes late. They see us, turn off all the lights, and leave. No explanation or anything. A car pulled in next to us with a similar story saying they were told to come in 30-45 minutes. They came, and the employees left. I wish Figaros had simply told us they close in 5 minutes, instead of leaving me on hold, waiting for no one, and simply leaving when...

First of all, I love good pizza and rate them based on crust, sauce, cheese, toppings, etc.

I was shocked at how good Figaro’s was. I got a large thin crust cheese pizza with pineapple(not my favorite topping but my wife ordered). The pizza cost $16, and was done in 10 minutes. The thin crust was perfect. Crispy even to the last slice, and with the perfect level of chewiness. The sweetness of the pineapple made the sauce flavor difficult to analyze, but it was good. There was the right amount of cheese and it was not oily. Was able to eat it in the car while driving, without making a big mess.
