Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Johnston

BE CAREFUL! Their website wasn’t working correctly for I I wasn’t able to use my points. After calling them 3 times, I didn’t get anywhere; they kept sending my call to the store. The manager I spoke with informed me it wasn’t her job. It’s not my job is all she kept saying. Points or no points, I had hungry people to feed. I placed on order on-line but when I went to pick it up, the manager had cancelled it but didn’t bother to call and tell me.

During the discussion about this with her, she decides it’s ok to drop a couple of “F” bombs. I’m in my 60’s and don’t want or warrant being spoken to like that. Then it dawns on me I had s previous encounter with her over extra marinara which they don’t have an option to order extra on-line. I was going to pay for it when the conversion started but when I left I didn’t have extra.

That manager is very rude and her title has apparently gone to her head. Her disposition is that she is better than you. Now that I had to go through a second incident with her, I won’t be going back for round 3. I sent an email to the company about my second wear a while back but haven’t received a reply. They apparently think it’s ok for an employee to swear at a customer and cancel their order without their knowledge. Throw caution when ordering from...

IMO Dominoes pizza is the best value on the market. It’s still cheap, even when prices for everything else have skyrocketed. Most importantly, it’s delicious. If you don’t agree, you’re simply not ordering right! Do yourself a favor and stick to the handmade pan pizza. The one in a black box. No matter what toppings you like, get extra cheese… THEN try telling me I’m wrong (guaranteed you won’t!)

Tip: use a coupon, available direct on their website. It’ll only cost you $10 for 2 toppings AND extra cheese! I know, it only comes in medium, but for that price you can just order a few more (It’s more filling anyways)

To top it off, this location in Johnston, IA even has seating, so you can actually sit down to eat here (I’m from California where that’s not a thing anymore)

This Dominos is understaffed and needs to do a hiring spree or bump up wages to interest people in applying. 4 people running deliveries and 2 running the store during dinner is such a horrible recipe. One time I ordered and had to wait an hour and a half in store to get it. Then last night, we gave them another chance using delivery and they said it was going to take 2 hours. We canceled and got a refund. Pizza still was delivered to our door, even though we called them TWICE to make sure our order was canceled , a delivery man still brought us pizza 10 minutes later. We refused it since we just wanted our money back. So not only is this place understaffed, the employees are wasting time on canceled orders, which puts them even more behind. We told them plenty of time in advance we wanted to cancel, and they still brought us pizza regardless of what we said to them. Biggest problem here is not having enough help in the store.
