I worked at this dominos for about a month, and at first it was great. But after a couple weeks, I started getting treated awfully by the managers, Tasha and Nola. They were not only very rude to me and other workers in the kitchen, but they were even MORE rude to the customers. Tasha would always be extremely rude over the phone when people were trying to place orders, saying things like "are you almost done ordering?" "How much more do you want? sighs". She would even end up hanging up on the customers for no reason other than she was annoyed with how much food they would want. I would deliver a pizza to someone, and they would say, "the woman on the phone was EXTREMELY rude to me. I won't be ordering from you guys again." Nola, the other manager, would get so mad at customers, she would throw boxes at the walls WHILE on the job, throw bags of food and veggies everywhere because of how angry she would get, and scream cuss words while doing it as well as calling customers rude and awful names. They weren't professional at all, and just all around very rude people. Also, the owner Marc charges people CRAZY expensive delivery charges and pockets the money, because as a driver, we barely got reembursed for our gas. The pizza was usually very good, (still my favorite pizza company) but this Johnstown establishment is full of rude, impatient workers who don't know anything about customer service. Reasons why I quit because I don't want to be associated with such awful and hurtful workers. It sucks because they're the only ones who deliver in Johnstown. I feel bad for anyone that's there now that has to deal with all of it. And I'm sorry for the customers who were verbally abused by...
Read moreI ordered pizza last night and there was a little bit of a mix up. The man I spoke with on the phone was so helpful and was going through options to get me the best deal (I was ordering a specialty pizza and pan which are more expensive). It accidentally got put on carry out instead of delivery. After 1 1/2 hours, the mixup was caught and the young man on the phone apologized and new pizzas were made I went and got them. The manager was extremely nice and apologetic and the man that took my order came and spoke with me and apologized as well. They ended up giving me the pizzas for free, which I appreciate very much so… but this post isnt meant to focus on what they did wrong or free pizza. It was meant for recognizing the man that took my order and how helpful he was (great customer service and went above and beyond!) and how sincere his feelings were about the mix up- it’s also about the manager that genuinely cares about making things right (wonderful customer service) and was very polite! I used to work in the service industry and I totally understand that things happen and it was a honest mistake! I just wanted to recognize these two men who went above and beyond 💜. You guys made my son’s day for yummy hot cheese pizza, perfect for ending the best first day of school💜. These two men deserve to be recognized- they are humble, care about their customers, care in general, offer amazing customer service and are an asset to...
Read moreOn May 4th my friend had a wedding and the catering team failed. Everyone was in distress and the future of the wedding event seemed dismal. The bride and groom shivered in dismay and hope was futile. A random man in black (not sure if he was invited) shouted, “hey how bout that big D!?”, referring to dominoes. All guests looked to the man with despair in their eyes but nodded in ambiguity. Within seconds, the number to the closest Dominoes was called by the stranger in black. Big D accepted the challenge and 30 pizzas with multiple toppings were delivered in less than 20 minutes. The wedding party/guests roared with enjoyment when the little Prius arrived with the sweet sweet smell of homemade dough and perfect amount of marinara and toppings arrived in that venue. That little Prius saved the world, lives, and possibly a marriage that night. With all that being said, thank you Dominoes and all the workers that made that night possible. You are truly heroes. Not all heroes wear...
