Jameson's Pub Joliet — Restaurant in Joliet

Amazing experience with Jameson's Pub and staff I encountered. I've been in the process of planning a Surprise 50th Birthday Party for my husband, for months. With their help we pulled it off last night. I originally spoke with George (Koz), to book the private room. I had to change the date (my schedule conflict, not theirs) He was more than accommodating. Fast forward to the week before the party. I called to set up a time to discuss the menu and bar tab. Spoke with Scott, very helpful and gracious as well. Met with Heather, who took the order and guided me on their many choices. Heather promised me everything would be ready on time, and she completely delivered on that promise. Wonderful employee and great to work with in planning the Surprise. She even checked the schedule for the Hostess that would be on duty, so we could pull it off. Phoebe and Lolly were great at playing the part we set up for them for the Surprise.

Day of.....spoke with Scott regarding decorating for the party. He allowed us in almost 4 hours before the start of the party. So thankful for that! While we were in the decorating process, our server, Michelle wanted to talk to me regarding the last minute details. Michelle, was absolutely phenomenal! Our guests, always had a full drink, full plate of food and didn't have to wait for anything. She was amazing!

My husband and I have hosted many parties throughout the years at different venues around the Joliet area. Jameson's is our definite "go to" place now! I can't thank everyone enough for all your help planning and pulling off this...

So let start by saying it was our 17 anniversary we decided to throw a celebration with friends and family, this wasn’t first time we used Jameson for party used them maybe 3-5 times and recommended other party for friends they have booked with them , I want to say server waitress was outstanding I don’t her name but she was wonderful … but with the food they brought cheese out meat into a cold room freezing cold so nachos was cold , my guest were so cold everyone kept complaining how cold it was , manager came in try fix thermostat but nothing was coming out , my whole thing was if you knew something was wrong with heat shouldn’t have allow ppl in there was freezing and can’t say didn’t know because it was to cold not to know pretty sure party prior to that , when spoke with manager about heat situation at through out party was kinda felt dismiss as especially at end felt dismiss idk if was because of my color only wonder would I been treated differently if I wasn’t black .. pretty sure things would been handle better would been a price different only thing made that night special was my guest , even though most my guest went home with problems because of the cold arthritis etc , my daughter pointed out something it was a plate underneath it had 3 slices of pizza we didn’t even order pizza so some of plates wasn’t even clean … I don’t know what made me decide to have another party because lately I haven’t even been going there been a min but I wanted a place where we could enjoy must say was aweful when was time for the check they were ready to collect that But not rectify the issues … my guest we’re so upset for me as well livid...

ZERO STARS. Went to the Joliet location roughly a month ago. Was greeted by a rude hostess who seemed upset that she had to do her job. Went there on a day where select apps were half price and got there about 20 minutes before the promotion ended. When we asked for the menu for half price apps the waitress thought it the time had passed and when she realized there was still time said she would get us a menu. Not sure if she just got busy or was stalling on purpose but she conveniently didnt come back with our drinks and no menu till 5:05. Oh well we order entrees and full price apps. The apps come out at the same time as the entrees. I order blackened mahi mahi, what I got was what you could only describe as a grayish overcooked ball of fish that you couldn't even see under the sea of avacodo corn relish (which was the best part of the meal). And they didnt give me the right side. My mom ordered a panini which was a cold sandwich that was placed in a grill pan just long enough to get a couple grill marks. I emailed the restaurants webpage and didnt even get a response back. It was a nightmare dining experience. For 110 dollars I would expect a decent meal or at least an email saying sorry your meal was terrible. I, nor anyone that will listen to me, will ever eat at this location again and honestly it has turned me off of the idea of going to the other...
