I am reviewing the Wendyâs on Southwest Drive by Cash Savers. I seldom review anything, but something has to be done. We arrive and just walking to the door the sidewalks were nasty and smelled of old grease. Then you go inside and immediately you realize they have an a/c issue. The dining room smells like (and pardon me as Iâm at a loss for proper words to describe these smells) but it smelled like a gym locker or week old soured sweaty gym clothes and feet. You manage to order and this idea of a soda machine that delivers over 100 different flavors of soda thri one tube is nasty and so was the machine. So after lunch I have to use the restroom âGaspâ immediately it smelled as though they mopped the floors with pure urine. As Iâm in my stall I realize there is feces on the walls and door. Mind you this was yesterday!! I wish someone would follow up on this daily. The health inspector needs called. That place is a breading ground for all kinds of disgusting fecal and urine related illnesses. Managers make sure your bathrooms are being cleaned several times daily and with correct chemicals. The same for your condement area and fountain drink machine and more than once daily. Your carpets need thrown out or prof cleaned and all surfaces (windows tops etc need cleaned to remove odors and germs) and finally you need to have your parking lot and sidewalks to the entrances and around the drive thru prof cleaned......or just close. So so nasty. The staff yesterday was ok. My hamburger was like soup it had so much...

No one else in line but they pulled us up and we waited for our order they said we were waiting on the chicken breakfast sandwich. When the person brought our food out, pretty much threw it into the window. We were all kind of surprised, but really shouldn't have given the "attitude" it seemed all the employees had this morning. We pulled out, got back on the interstate, started going through the order. My bacon, egg and cheese croissant had no cheese and no sauce. It was literally bacon and egg on toasted croissant. This order for my family was almost$30 for breakfast. I don't mind paying for a fast food franchise breakfast from time to time, HOWEVER when I worked there as a teenager, we were taught to treat customers with respect and and we weren't allowed to pull customers up, we had to hustle to make the order. I called the location and the person that answered said are you sure it was this location? I told her yes, then she asked me for the order number and guess what.... NO RECIEPT in the bags.... we were already back on the interstate anyway. I truly hope a general manager or corporate sees this message. It's truly sad that Wendy's accepts this type of behavior from its employees, but most of all that this generation thinks it is OK to treat customers the way...
Read moreThis Wendy's used to be the best in town, now it has fallen badly. The building is nice, and clean, the employees very nice, but the food quality is not good. My mom's potato is in the photo, I asked them, did they have a fresher one, one that had not been here for a few days, they looked, the answer was it would take an hour and a half for a fresh one, the others were just as old. I used to work at Wendy's, so I knew they were telling the truth. I also knew this potato, unless burned, was made a day ago. Either way, it was disgusting and smelled just as bad, luckily, my mom is elderly and her taste buds are not as efficient as they used to be. Also, my burger patties were cool to the touch. This happened recently at a mom and pop store, but Wendy's? They could have at least tossed them on the grill to heat them up. This place was not busy, in fact, there was only one person who ordered before us and none in drive thru. In town, three other hamburger joints also serve off the grill burgers, TJ's, Five guys, and Skinny J's. They are still on their game, serving up fresh food, hot. With prices going up so high, and places that are cheaper and better, TJ's, being in town, why eat here? The problem is management, not employees. When cutting costs comes before quality, you lose customers. Go eat where people care, don't waste...
