First off, the place is clean and looks, smells and feels like a place you want to eat at, especially with family and friends.
There's a retro, 1950's old world burger joint feel to it, in a modern setting. Perhaps it's the music, perhaps it's the poise of the young men and women (not kids) who have a work ethic, poise and respect for themselves and the customers both.
But let's get to the food and, the burgers... taste like burgers! I know there have been new places like Burger-Fi that have come on the scene, the way Five Guys and others have tried, however, Culver's burgers taste and look the way burgers do when made on a grill at a family barbecue. Make it your way, or choose one of their offerings to choose from. The price difference from a single to a double patty is SO worth it, but either way, the food is substantial and filling. Taste wise, juicy, grilled, fresh and looks like a crafted burger and not some sloppy, floppy mess from a fast-food "value" joint.
Some additional things to note... The Root Beer! OMG, I'm a root beer fiend and Culver's doesn't disappoint. It's actually Sprecher's, from up north as well, a root beer that has won the number 1 spot by many enthusiasts. The cheese, in many varieties and the curds are awesome. I'm an onion ring guy and always substitute them in place of my fries and even they are crispy, not oily, and snap when you bite in them. Lastly, for dessert, there are many varieties of their own special brand of ice cream, along with shakes and floats and what not. Oh, and do try the Cod fish sandwich if you're a fish lover. It's not a simple fish sandwich, but a nice piece of fish that is flaky, battered perfectly and delicious!
In reading some of the other reviews, I'm not going to pull punches here, but whoever compares this place to McDonald's or Burger King or similar is broadcasting more of their class level and lack of life experience, fine dining or having taste buds. These people are gourmands (the kind that love buffets at Golden Corral for value vs. quality), not gourmets.
This review is for the 1108 Military Road location in Jupiter, Florida, which I've been too several times this week (traveling on business). The owner, Debbie, is a genuine soul, Kathy definitely has team spirit and cheer, and the staff, good young men and women who have a future if they keep on present course with continuing to develop their business acumen and maintaining their work ethic which is clearly on display here. So cool is this place that I've witnessed family and friends and community enjoying dinner together on a regular basis all week.
Long review, I know, but again, an easy...
Read moreHi Culver’s I just wanted to put in a good review for Logan one of the employees at Culver’s in Jupiter. we got hungry all of a sudden tonight because of our work week. It was a long week for us at work. Anyway, we got real hungry so we went to Culver’s to get a bite. We ordered some food but they left out one of our hamburgers. We told them while we were waiting. Someone came out and gave us another bag with food. We didn’t think to check it but when we got home and checked. it wasn’t the one hamburger that we ordered. we called Culver’s to let them know what happened and we got Logan on the phone. He knew what was left out of our order and he was waiting but we left so we said we would came back later to get it. Logan was very professional on the phone and this review is to put in a compliment for Logan and the way he handled our mixed up order. He did a great job. He tried to make it right and then some, very polite, very sincere and was willing to make sure we were happy customers. So, we called and thanked Logan for his generosity. He was very nice and apologetics so this review is for Logan at Culver’s and how professional he handled himself to help customers. Working at Culver’s my husband and I feel he deserves a 10 for how he handled us as customers when our order got messed up at Culver’s....
Read moreWe eat at this location usually once per week on Mondays for kids’ meal night and never have any issues. We went today during lunch and didn’t realize that the deal didn’t go on during lunch. No big deal- we decided to eat here anyway. Got home and one of our kids’ meals had a raw burger. My husband drove back up and went inside and showed it to the cashier who rang up a replacement and apologized. My husband got home and we broke it open to find it just as bad as the first! We’ve never had this issue before. My husband called and spoke with a manager who said he would send some coupons. A nice gesture, but we were still missing a burger at lunch time and out the cost of that meal. Hopefully the issue in the kitchen or with the grill is corrected promptly.
Update August 2025: ordered buffalo tenders in a to-go order and received a very odd looking tender that was shaped like a nugget. I got home a cut it open and it was just a tendon with thick batter. The quality assurance at this location is awful. It’s still overrun with students without adult supervision most afternoons and the FOD is never in stock and they say they don’t have the...
