Farmer Boys — Restaurant in Jurupa Valley

Though the store was clean, this was not one of my best experiences. I won't really discuss the staff because everyone has an off day. Now, if you've eaten at Farmer Boys, for years, you have come to expect certain things. I ordered a Sourdough Chicken Avocado Sandwich. The picture on the board was so appetizing, but the actual sandwich looked nothing like the picture. It was small, and flat. The chicken portion was child-size, and cutting the sandwich in half, barely left me with a bite of meat, on one half. The other half wasn:t much better. The store wasn't busy, at all. So I cannot understand why there was no pride in the production of my meal. Ok. It was a lackluster presentation, surprisingly with only a handful of fries, but at least it was going to be savory - or so I thought. I was disappointed by the presentation and tiny portions. The taste was flavorless. Farmer Boys is well-known for it's large portions, and tasty meals. Perhaps their basic formula has changed? Perhaps this discrepancy is limited to this location, only? Honestly, this visit makes me not want to go back to find out. My date ordered fries to go, and they were literally a small fry at other fast food companies. Apparently, they only have the one size. Avoid this location. Try the one right off the Pierce St. exit off the 91 Freeway, in Riverside, CA. I have had nothing but great...

So to start off, basically a truck stop Cafe. Bathrooms had people bathing and camping out in them, waited 35 minutes to use the bathroom. Nothing else around right off the fwy so I had no choice. People come out and the bathrooms are filthy, I almost threw up. Smelled like a dead animal, guy pooped everywhere... the other have a dude bathing in the sink. Food had black hair in it... I'm blonde so.... place is covered in flies, actually had them landing on us our food, sent pictures of everything to corporate, dishes stacked up on trash can area... worker comes up and drops dishes so hard in the little tub of water and splashes it on my back, neck, hair, and food... just looks at me weird and power walks away. And after all this and with me unable to eat my food I had just received do to the hair, dish water and flies... They refuse a refund, they offer me more of the horrible food I am complaining about. If the restaurant is that dirty... who knows what the kitchen is like... look I love FARMER BOYS, and this is in no way attacking the chain, there are like 50 more all around this area, just don't go...

This place actually used to be 24 hours. You can't really say you're open 24 hours or open at all if your freaking lobby is closed the entire time.

Not everyone who goes to a farmers wants to use the drive thru. Sometimes we just want to park, grab a bite to eat NOT in our cars, and then relax a bit before going about our night.

I haven't been here in a few years, think I'll just continue not going here. It's far too annoying than it's worth.

Edit: oh and apparently this place HATES truck drivers. I know they aren't a truck stop but they used to leave them be since the truckers weren't bothering anyone, but now they kick them out at midnight, at least that's what I was told by the armed security they have now in their lot.

Guess they are making it clear that you guys aren't welcome in their establishment anymore. Which is crazy because besides 3rd shift warehouse workers nobody is going to this place at night besides truckers. They're literally the...
