So we go to this place for the very first time yesterday Sunday April 28th and was very disappointed. The restaurant was very dirty, chairs were all displaced, trash on the floor.....cup, napkins, used utensils. The tables had not been wiped down, some tables still had previous customers trash. Employees looked like they hated working there........I dont blame them! The food was awful, the chickens were the size of a cornish hen, they were burnt black on the outside and extremely dry on the inside. They were understaffed, there were only three employees and a line of people waiting impatiently. Everyone was wearing gloves, but they were touching everything. They should have each person assigned to handle the meat, another on sides and tortillas and another prepping hand held items like the burritos. The girl that helped us looked sour, no smile at all. She was grabbing the chicken, then she would stick her greasy chicken hands in the lettuce and tomatoes and cucumbers etc.......I was grossed out by the time I received my greasy plastic box. Then I had to clean a table myself to sit down, tables and chairs were very greasy. Because the chairs are of a leather like material you can see the grease shine on them. My Husband ordered the burrito and it literally looked and tasted as though someone had threw up in the burrito and wrapped it up. I was disgusted! There was a homeless lady asking for food, the food was so bad, I wouldn't even give it to her, it went straight in the trash. I hope management reads this and makes an effort to properly train their employees on food prep and presentation oh and also hygiene. Will never go back. Went home and...
Read moreCame in to get a chicken burrito. There was a few people ahead of me. Their food was being prepared. So an employee saw me, I am at the end of the line. She then came to assist me from a distance and took my order. She came over from mopping the kitchen floor. Never took the gloves off she was wearing to mop the floor, nor washed her hands. She began making my burrito with the gloves on. Grabbing from the food bin and heating a tortilla. I could not say anything due to my distance from her at this time. Her overall hygiene was disgusting, how she was allowed to work like that is beside me. Finally I was able to flag down the manager. Told him and he said something to her in Spanish and walked away. He threw everything away. He offered to remake my food and I declined. NO way in hell would I eat from a place that doesn't police there staff or put food quality and cleanliness first. I'm glad I caught this. Could have been extremely bad. This was my first time attempting to eat here and it was my last. You can only imaging what other food was touched with filthy hand and gloves during preparation of the food. YOU...
Read moreThis place opened recently and I've already eaten there three times. The prices are great for the quality of food you are getting. Arguably the nicest restaurant in the area and the staff are friendly and accommodating. Pro Tip: ask for the Peruvian Green Sauce from behind the counter!
Chicken: extremely juicy, the wood fire grill definitely makes a difference. Loved the seasoning. Housemade Tortillas: Game changers, both the corn and flour tortillas are great. You can taste the difference. Salad: honestly one of the best restaurant salads I've had. Simple yet flavorful. Rice: cooked perfectly. Melts in your mouth. Peruvian Green Sauce: This sauce is not in the salsa bar. You have to ask them for it behind the count. It is amazing and I've never had it at any other restaurant. Fries: Above average and they give you so much!
They offer so many other options which I have yet to try but am excited to do so. They also have televisions to watch any important sporting events. This place is really a fantastic addition...
