Scratch Pizza — Restaurant in Jurupa Valley

I'm giving them 4 stars because they were very helpful inspite of the problems I came across. I came across their latest offer on my phone and so I decided to try them. The summer special posted was for a 4 topping extra large pizza for $12.99. It could only be ordered through their app or website. So I went to the website and tried to find the special and could not find that particular one. I decided to call the restaurant to get some guidance, being my first time ordering and all. Long story short on this is, the guy helping me out was very patient and had to walk me through the whole process. I think their system needs some work to clarify a few things. When I got there, I was greeted by a nice young lady and my pizza was ready. I went ahead and asked about the price difference I had to pay because I could not find the advertised special. She tried as best she could but, it just didn't make sense because that special was the last thing that had been posted, and it didn't help that it didn't have an expiration date on it. If it would have, this summer time special would have been good for only one day, on a weekend no less. Like I said, they tried to help but, they are not the ones who decide what and when changes are made. As far as the pizza goes, I was surprised that this was the extra large. I got home with my bags of food i picked up from this Scratch location just to find out my order wasent complete, they didint give me all my items. It says outside that they deliver but refused bring it to me. I had to make a second trip to pick up the meal that they forgot to give me. Didint even offer a free drink or anything for the trouble. I understand it was partially me because i should have checked my bags. But its also their responsibility to double check my receipt. I don't know!! Ordered a classic pepperoni. VERY light on the pepperoni, NOT at all like their pictures. Sliced VERY thin too, paper thin, NO taste whatsoever, not even an aftertaste. I think it was some kind of veggie meat?? Cheese had NO taste either. It DID have a slight chewiness to it. Crust had not much taste either, but was just ok, but did have some chewiness to it. The pie needed some spices, because as a whole, it did not have much flavor. I think if they bumped up the quality of their ingredients, I would return....
