We discovered this gem on our way home from a shopping trip. This is a true family-owned small-town treasure! They serve standard diner food (burgers, tenderloins, chicken & fish sandwiches, all varieties of homemade sides) cooked to order. I like that it is very clean but not overly decorated, just a few cute sayings adorning the walls. Portions are generous & prices are great. Mom & I had lunch for under $10. Save room for dessert because they have an extensive list of ice cream creations; you'll want to try them all. We will make this a regular stop whenever we are anywhere close...

As their name would indicate, I believe the majority of their business that they conduct has to do with ice cream. If you ever have a hankering for great ice cream and fried Midwest specialties, the Ice Cream Shoppe in Kahoka, MO is the answer. I ate largest tenderloin sandwich that I have ever seen.
