Food is good but service could use some work. Ordered food waited outside when done the drinks were not ready. Could have done that while we waited. Then the people behind us got their drinks first.

It's easy to say how things should be run/ran standing outside looking in, we're you the only customer? No! Did you ask the circumstances? Did you just jump to conclusions on how you thought things should be ran? Until you've worked in a restaurant, you have no idea how things are ran, did you think about how hard those girls work? How long they've been there on there feet serving people? Maybe ask, or what's another minute of waiting? Never assume you know what "should" be done until you've actually experienced what those girls are doing, thanks for the compliment on the food, and for the 4 stars, we do appreciate your business, but this was a selfish comment! Never assume or judge, take a deep breath and don't be in such a hurry, life goes by to fast as it is. Take time to smell the roses. Have a blessed day!
Reply to your reply. You are correct i do not know what those women go through. I am sure they do their best and it shows in the food they make. Once again 4 stars. But you are in the "service" industry. Was just trying to give constructive criticism on how you could improve the experiance i had. You are right, life is too short and this is a selfish post because the service you provide isn't about you it is about me and you are not in my shoes and do not know how important my time is to me. Thats why i pay you. Next time my time and money will go where it's more appreciated. Clearly a "sorry about that" was not worth the customer. To everyone else, if you want some pretty good food and you have time to "stop and smell the roses" swing on by. Oh i forgot the shakes are good too. Have a...
Read moreUpdate After Vendor Response: Offering a milkshake isn't really making up for the mistake when I didn't want a milkshake to begin with. No where on the menu did I see that I'd have to request a tomato (maybe I missed that somewhere but didn't see it). It was only awkward for standing and waiting because I was waiting for so long with the mistake that occurred and the option to let me wait in my car and get notified was not offered at the time (not even after the mistake). Even with this experience I still gave 3 stars because none of this has ever happened on previous visits and some type of offer was made for the mistake.
Original from 7/31/23: I usually only go here when my dad is in town because he loves the fries. While the food is good (well, the tenderloin is top choice then chicken sandwich... actually disappointed in the burger today)... went today ordered 2 orders of fries and a qtr lb cheeseburger plus a large pepsi.... they skipped over my order or didn't get the ticket in the back (idc what is was, it was missed)... their only offer for the mistake was a free shake that I didn't want (or I'd have ordered it)... it's awkward inside standing around with no where to sit while waiting... took 35minutes to get the food due to the mistake... then the burger was placed on top of one order of fries... we purposely ordered everything separately so that it wouldn't be packed that way and the bottom bun on the burger ended up soggy from all the heat or grease from fries or something... also, didn't realize their burgers don't come with tomato or ketchup on them... and 3 pickles counts for extra pickles that I asked for... don't know if there will...
Read moreI've been searching for the best BPT in the KC metro. Reviews and recommendations led me to Christy's. Christy's is an old school restaurant. There is no indoor seating, but several picnic tables out back. You order at the counter, wait until your number is called then get your food and go. The old building looks like at one time they had an outside ordering window as well. The tenderloin was good sized. It was well cooked and juicy. The breading was unique. The texture reminded me a bit of smashed up corn flakes. I liked that. Unfortunately, the breading and tenderloin really didn't have much flavor. The toppings were mayo, white onion and shredded lettuce. They included a ketchup packet and salt in the bag. This was not enough for the juicy, but bland BPT. Once I brought it home, added more mayo and lettuce, plus some mustard, pickles and a slice of cheddar it became much more tasty. I'm not sure if I can request those at Christy's or how much extra that would cost as this was my first visit here and they were too busy for me to stand around asking questions. I want to return someday to try their chili dog as that is another dish I travel around trying at various locales. #KCFoodie #CulinaryAdventures #ExploreYourCity #KCK...
