The salads were good and there is an extensive choice of salad dressings. The bread was bland. Once again, we received our steak medium rare when it was ordered medium well. We actually like our steak medium, but the waitress said the steaks are undercooked regularly, so to order them medium well....and that still didn't work. I would say we have had to return our steaks 8 out of 10 times. The steak flavor is okay. They aren't seasoned, aged, or marinated. They aren't nasty, but definitely not the most flavorful. The pork chop had no flavor. Edible yes -Would we re-order it? No.

The mashed potatoes & brocollini were not hot. They were luke warm. I like my food hot. It was obvious they had been plated too early and had cooled. My dinner mate liked the mashed potatoe flavor. The brocollini was overcooked. The carrots were wonderful and the asparagus was good.

The desserts here have been so disappointing for the last 3-4 years. All are prepackaged /frozen, with exception of two items. To fill the plate, there was a petit four added that was horrible. No question, this is another cheap frozen addition to the plate. The creme brulee texture isn't consistent. Sometimes it is overcooked / broken and sometimes the texture is spot on. However today, the texture was much better than the last several times. The flavor of the creme brulee is 3/5. I am guessing that the chef works under a very difficult and tight budget & is forced to buy lower quality ingredients. An example of what I mean is using artificial vanilla rather than vanilla beans or pure vanilla extract or using a lower quality heavy cream.

We have no idea if there was a manager on duty. If there was, they never approached our table or the two tables near us. The hostess was awesome. She appeared to care about the service and the customers while maintaining the utmost professionalism. The service was great until our waitress disappeared and never returned. We later found out she took on a large party, which would have been fine if there was some communication to us that a diff waiter was going to take over for her.

Sometimes, a chef & restaurant manager's hands are tied by stringent budgets given to them from above. I suspect that this is part of the reason pre-packaged frozen food is served and sub-par quality. And, if the manager isn't given enough labor hours, then it is hard for a chef to have time to prepare and cook quality items. I understand the tremendous challenge that the situation is. However, if you can't provide fine dining service and quality food, then maybe the restaurant should be suspended or the price lowered, so that it represents the...

Prior to COVID we had eaten here fairly regularly as it was one of the very best restaurants in the area. The food was amazing and it was one of the few places that offered top tier bourbon and other spirits. We were sad when it remained closed after COVID ended and were elated when it re-opened fairly recently. We have been there twice since it re-opened.

Although the menu has changed slightly, the food is still 5 star. The service was abysmal both times. And quite frankly, there was no excuse for poor service as the restaurant was essentially empty both times (on Saturday nights at 7:00pm). We were seated promptly, but the server did not arrive to take drink orders for a full 10 minutes and then we waited an additional 15 minutes for the drinks to be served from the bar. My husband actually went to the bar to fetch our drinks which were sitting there waiting to be picked up.

The server was extremely unfamiliar with the menu, which I would have overlooked if everything else was great. Our food was served in a reasonable amount of time, but after we finished eating no one appeared to remove the plates or ask about drink/water refills. The server eventually appeared to drop the check off but still did not clear the table or inquire if we wanted anything else.

I rated the atmosphere 3 stars only because although the interior is nice, both times when more patrons arrived, they were seated directly next to us in an empty restaurant.

In summary, the food is great, some of the best we've eaten anywhere. It's a little pricey,...

My wife made reservations 3 months in advance for my birthday weekend. However when we arrived we missed the reservation because there was not a host to seat us. We stood at the host stand for approximately 15 minutes with several employees walking past us before a gentleman in a suit, presumably the manager, informed us he could not seat us for our reservation, he then asked for us to wait in the bar. He said it would be a 30 min wait. As we walked into the bar there were no seats available. So we stepped back into the foyer to wait to be seated. After approximately 5 minutes the host arrived and informed us we could not be seated for an hour. He again asked us to wait in the bar, which still had no available space. The bottom line was if we could not wait in the bar we had to leave. All of this after we received several text messages confirming the reservation throughout the weekend. After having planed this reservation well in advance, being asked to wait places that were clearly already full and wasting 20 minutes of my evening to not honor that reservation I would describe the service as rude disrespectful and inconsiderate. Truly a...

Had dinner in the bar section of the restaurant. Smaller area but good if you are alone or just with 1 other and don't want to sit in the dining room. The bar itself was stocked nicely with several liquers and high end spirits. Our server/bartender was Gus. He was extremely nice and knowledgeable about the items available at the bar as well as the entire food menu. Started with the seasonal oysters. A little on the smaller side, but very tasty. Came with 3 separate sauce options which was nice. For the main we shared a 7oz filet and the Chilean Sea Bass. The filet was definitely a nice cut that was cooked perfectly to order. The sea bass was a little bland. Not sure if it was the fish itself or that it just needed better accompaniment. Also had the lobster mac n cheese as a side. Very tasty with good size pieces of lobster. Overall a good experience. I would try again for sure and give other items on the menu a taste. The service Gus provided was a definite plus. Thanks Gus!

The atmosphere is okay. The best thing about the place was the host and our waiter Juan. The best waiter there. The food unfortunately is not worth the price. Steak was overcooked, mac and cheese both with and without lobster was unseasonably and tasted burnt. Shrimp was overcooked. The mashed potatoes was very salty. It's not worth the price. My husband and I had the steak special plus some add on sides which came up to around $167. It's very understandable why its not packed. Paying that much you want flavored food and there was no flavor at all. No wonder they are giving away free food comps to eat there. It's the only time I would.

Had an amazing time celebrating our engagement here at Final Cut Steakhouse inside Hollywood Casino in Kansas City, Kansas. Highly recommend! The food is phenomenal the service is impressive and friendly and knowledgeable there is a reason this place is world renowned. Juan is the best dinner companion a guest could ask for tell him Zach and Mellissa sent you and you're in for a treat. He makes you feel like family and the food and service makes you feel like royalty. Will be back and have been back.
