Just Chicken N Beer — Restaurant in Kansas City

When going in this place PLEASE LOCK YOUR CAR DOORS! We was parked by the door… Security clearly be going around checking people car doors! My firearm came up missing out the glove compartment on a Thursday night when I visit this place my sister forgot to lock the car doors… But i never stated to any of them that I had my firearm nor where I had put it!!! Not to mention security was outside of the door and the allegedly “owner” Dwanda was outside leaning on back of a vehicle on her phone as we walked into thee establishment… She stated to me on the phone that she was on a conference call!! Remind yall nothing in the car wasn’t rammed shack so we didn’t notice that it was missing! Meaning we was been watched and scoped out on… I guess this why it was only 10-15 people in there the hole night we arrive there around 7:30… I have spoken to allegedly “owner” by the name of Dwanda… She stated that the place of business “HAS CAMERAS” and where we were parked that there is cameras that’s pointing the same direction we were… But hasn’t return my calls back also she stated that the security guard was her cousin and that he wouldn’t be going around checking doors…. Also she stated that he sits outside all the time making sure things like what happen to me don’t occur! I didn’t spot any cameras on the place of business when I tried to go back and ask questions about my firearms… It’s very hard to contact anybody at this place!!!! Please stay safe your going here!!! The bartender was nice, but this was a strange place. Some aspects of the building are in disrepair or outdated/patched together... A strange taped-together paper covering covers the bar, the front door is awkward, and while I appreciate them turning the lights on for us to go on the patio, there was a sign stating a $2 charge for re-entry. I've never heard of this practice before. I asked if we would be charged and the bartender said not tonight because it was slow. Do they really charge people $2 every time they come back in? Came for the vegan food. Left with a new respect for vegan fish & breaded chicken!!!

Have heard so much about this place, but never made it down until today; super happy I did!!!!!

Parking is a caution, but visits during the day are said to be better than late nights when karaoke is happening, etc.
