A Little Sunlight On Toast -
Found myself tucked into this little coffee shop today… one of those rare corners where time seems to stretch just enough for you to notice it. The air hummed softly with espresso and warm bread, and sunlight moved slow across the counter like it had nowhere else to be.
The barista smiled… the kind of smile that tells you she’s exactly where she belongs. We talked about coffee and small joys, and before I knew it she was making me her favorite treat… a fresh piece of toast dressed in blended nut butter, scattered with bright fruit, and finished with this golden glisten of honeycomb extract.
The first bite stopped me. Warm toast giving way to cool sweetness… the nut butter earthy and rich… the honey tasting like sunlight melted. It felt less like eating and more like being quietly cared for.

You can tell by the way they carry themselves that this is more than just another trendy coffee shop... it’s a dream that turned into a reality and a love for a neighborhood and community that has been overlooked for far too long.
Stick with me now. The parfait? Delicious. I don’t like the taste of plain Greek yogurt, so I appreciated the amount of honey that was drizzled on top… fresh berries, not frozen and was that local honey they used? Tasted local. Someone mentioned the avocado toast was pretty amazing, so that’s what I’ll try next!!
I came in around 10am and it was poppin’ with business. Great spot for families or remote work but fyi, it’s got that “hole in the wall” charm so space is ✨limited✨. If you don’t see parking on the side road, I’d recommend the community center across the street. 10/10 would...
Read moreThe girls are young & sweet and the atmosphere was cute and calm and family oriented BUT objectively we were trying to get coffee before a second day of driving 12 hours, so this put us incredibly behind waited 30 minutes with two uhauls blocking the roads and the coffee was unfortunately tasted so off (I own an espresso machine & have been to hundreds of local shops) we had to dump it and still go somewhere else. And the largest iced coffee was super small.
