A Little Sunlight On Toast -

Found myself tucked into this little coffee shop today… one of those rare corners where time seems to stretch just enough for you to notice it. The air hummed softly with espresso and warm bread, and sunlight moved slow across the counter like it had nowhere else to be.

The barista smiled… the kind of smile that tells you she’s exactly where she belongs. We talked about coffee and small joys, and before I knew it she was making me her favorite treat… a fresh piece of toast dressed in blended nut butter, scattered with bright fruit, and finished with this golden glisten of honeycomb extract.

The first bite stopped me. Warm toast giving way to cool sweetness… the nut butter earthy and rich… the honey tasting like sunlight melted. It felt less like eating and more like being quietly cared for.

There’s something rare about places like this… where people pour a bit of their spirit into what they make. I left feeling lighter… a little sweeter inside… and already...

This shop just feels… different. The owners have created this atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re in their home. Like they’re truly your neighbor!! You can tell by the way they carry themselves that this is more than just another trendy coffee shop... it’s a dream that turned into a reality and a love for a neighborhood and community that has been overlooked for far too long.

Stick with me now. The parfait? Delicious. I don’t like the taste of plain Greek yogurt, so I appreciated the amount of honey that was drizzled on top… fresh berries, not frozen and was that local honey they used? Tasted local. Someone mentioned the avocado toast was pretty amazing, so that’s what I’ll try next!!

I came in around 10am and it was poppin’ with business. Great spot for families or remote work but fyi, it’s got that “hole in the wall” charm so space is ✨limited✨. If you don’t see parking on the side road, I’d recommend the community center across the street. 10/10 would...

The girls are young & sweet and the atmosphere was cute and calm and family oriented BUT objectively we were trying to get coffee before a second day of driving 12 hours, so this put us incredibly behind waited 30 minutes with two uhauls blocking the roads and the coffee was unfortunately tasted so off (I own an espresso machine & have been to hundreds of local shops) we had to dump it and still go somewhere else. And the largest iced coffee was super small. I think a cute place if you want to support young kids and socialize in an aesthetic place but if you want good lattes and timely service I would definitely...

Wonderful atmosphere to come hang out indoor or out, enjoy some delicious food and coffee. Plenty of space with the outdoor setup, but limited inside. It's lively and upbeat with some areas set up for kids to play. The jam and butter toast was the perfect late morning snack to accompany a cup of coffee.
