1st time here, we walk in and have to wait due to the hostess was on a personal phone call, we get seated took 8 minutes to get someone to our table. Order our food with drinks and 20 minutes later we finally received our food. Started eating chicken was super chewy and dry with no flavor, mashed potatoes seemed to be so runny that I swear they were instant. Had to flag down another waitress to get ours to come back to get my drink refilled, I couldn't remember who our waitress was. She never checked on us. But the worst was when we checked out, there was no where to leave a tip on the receipt. We were traveling through and didn't have cash on us, I believe that this is the reason for the horrible service, if I worked there and didn't get a tip, I would probably NOT go back and check on my customers either. Not a good experience we travel through Pittsburgh all the time and have always wanted to try this place, yesterday it finally happened and we should have ate someplace else. The only reason I gave 2 stars was because there was one waitress that had pink hair, she was running around like crazy trying super hard to keep up with here tables and keep her customers happy. I wish she would've been our waitress then it might have been a...

I normally will not say anything bad publicly about a business, Pichlers Chicken in Pittsburg Kansas, but this evening I received a spoiled piece of chicken in our order of a 2 person meal of 6 pieces of chicken and 3 sides. The back was spoiled, stunk, and when I got it close to my face made me feel like I had to throw up. Will smelled the back and it turned his stomach too. The waitress was nice and got us new chicken. The owners or management was not. The blonde boss lady told me the back was just bruise and bloody. Will and I tried to eat more chicken but our appetites were ruined. We went to check out and I had saved a bite of meat, the skin and tail of the spoiled back. The older man manager at the check out again told me that the back was not spoiled. I gave him the spoiled peices and asked him If He would eat it. He smelled the spoiled chicken and choked. Then told us again it was not spoiled, then quickly threw the spoiled chicken in the trash. HE and the lady manager never apologized for or admitted the chicken was spoiled. I wish I had taken a picture to show you all because the back had a greenish look to the inside of the meat and the SMELL! I can not ever eat chicken again at Pichlers Chicken in...

Pittsburg the fried chicken Mecca of Kansas!!!!

In town for GetBusyLivin 5k and had eaten here many of times. The service is always phenomenal....the food is top notch delicious.

Usually when in town I eat Chicken Mary's... however we were on this side of town and hunger was calling. They had no wait on a Friday night and the place was getting busier. The host staff & family owners greeted us with a smile. Our server got our drinks and onion rings under way. Gave us time to look over the menu. (Hadn't been here in a while)

The rings came our hot and fresh.... Oh so delicious!

Miller lites were ice cold - always a bonus.

Our chicken came out hot and crispy just to my liking and of course I over ordered to have take home chicken! The sides were stellar...I can't get enough of the German potato salad.

I can't say enough great things about our experience... Even bought some winning lottery tickets at the cash out. Can't beat that! Stay awesome Pichler's Chicken Annie's Til next...

My experience was very disappointing. I had been wanting to go to either Chicken Annie’s or Chicken Mary’s for about 10 years. Finally I was traveling through the area and stopped at Pichlers Chicken Annie’s. I wasn’t aware there are spin offs from the original Chicken Annie’s 🤨. There is definitely nothing special about Pichlers Chicken Annie’s. The food tasted ok but the portions were a joke. When they brought my food I was stunned at how small the chicken was. I’d actually never seen drum sticks and a wing this small. Service was not so good….no drink refill and had to go to the front desk to get my check. I felt mis lead that this restaurant wasn’t the original Chicken Annie’s which still sits across from Chicken Mary’s. If I hadn’t been on such a tight schedule to get home…….I would have went and ate again at the Original Chicken Annie’s as I had wanted to try this place for such a long time.
