I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fusion Grill in Katy, and I can confidently say it is one of the finest culinary experiences I've had in the area. From the moment I entered, I was enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the stage for an unforgettable meal.

My husband has been wanting to try this place out and today we made the trip to do just that. We ordered our food and sat down to wait on the different orders to arrive. They came one by one which is fine but we noticed my youngest daughters chicken strips were taking longer than we expected.

We asked for an update and were told by the girl that took our order that they’ll be an additional 5-6 minutes to be sure they’re cooked and not raw on the inside. It had already been over 20 minutes since ordering. I personally thought it was odd but gave it the benefit of the doubt. After all, the majority of us were halfway done with our food.

Sure enough my daughters food was forgotten and this is how I found out. Her chicken strips were indeed uncooked (see photo). Thank God I cut them prior to her biting into them because that would have been a completely different problem. My husband asked for a refund only to find out the chicken strips were never charged to our ticket. The girl at the register knew we asked for them and must have tried to rush the order in the kitchen once she realized she missed charging us for them. I would have MUCH RATHER RECEIVED HER HONESTY and I did tell her that directly.

There was a gentleman there who apologized and seemed genuinely confused as to why we were asking for a refund since we weren’t charged. His employee’s dishonesty is why. He looked confused until I explained in front of her what happened. Point blank either she’s giving away free food in your establishment or she messed up and tried to cover up. Plain and simple. It’s unfortunate and I CAN NOT STAND A LIAR.

I will say everyone’s food was great until that moment but packing up our food and leaving without my child eating was the most upsetting/infuriating part. McDonalds got our business...

If our service would have been better, I actually would've given 4 stars. We were seated quickly by the hostess and told our server would be with us shortly. The hostess returned to let us know she'd be our server. We ordered 2 burgers and the parmesan truffle fries. Our fries came out first... I guess they consider that an appetizer. Not sure why since the burgers aren't paired with a side.

The fries were absolutely delicious. I'll tank them top 5 in the places I order parmesan truffle fries. They were hot, crispy, and full of flavor along with the dipping sauces they are served with. You're served more fries than what's pictured. We had eaten about half of them before I remembered to get a pic.

My burger came out but not the second burger. We waited a few minutes and I jokingly said, I guess the second burger is taking longer because they are getting the bacon real crispy. After a few minutes, call the waitress over and ask about the burger. She's confused at first and then I remind her of the complete order, and then it dawns on her there is a burger missing. She goes over to the computer and looks up the order, I assume, and then see her typing. Well we know what that means, she didn't but the second burger in for the order. How do you miss an entire burger when you wrote it down.

Luckily, we had filled up on the fries so just decided to split the burger that came out. The burger was delicious and full of flavor. The spice level was more than I thought it would be, but I loved it. I do think the patties are a little on the thin side. If you can't see your pattie because of the toppings and bread, the pattie is too thin!

So will I give this place another shot? It's likely. I'll just have to be sure our entire order is...
