HEB Delivery out of this location is terrible! In my opinion this store should not offer delivery at all. My rating is based on several factors, mainly the in store shoppers and the third party delivery partnership with Favor. I have been using the HEB app to order my groceries and have them delivered. The quality of items chosen by the associates does not justify the price HEB is charging for this service. Every order is a surprise, and 99% of the time it is upsetting since we are already paying inflated prices for food. I have had ground meat that was already turning brown, bruised and damaged fruit, stale bakery and pantry items, to name a few. I've noticed the items chosen for me are near expiration date and to my knowledge there is no option in the app to request the freshest items. Delivery is a major disappointment because Favor (a poorly rated company on the Better Business Bureau website) has sent out drivers that do not communicate properly, do not use up to date gps apps, and are careless when handling my groceries. The drivers get lost easily and do not know or understand English to complete the delivery on time. I have waited up to 30 minutes for a delivery after it left the store because a driver could not find my home. Twice I have had a driver include trash from their vehicle in HEB bags along side my groceries. I'm not going to reach out to Favor because I know I will not get a response, I hold HEB responsible for this mess and hopefully they will start paying attention. Other factors that contribute to this rating are frequent out of stock items that are showing in stock when I order them. I know HEB will replace any items that are damaged or incorrect, but usually the replacements will be delivered on their schedule with no text updates. And if a refund is issued, it takes several days to process. These inconveniences add up over time and cause people to shop somewhere else. If HEB wants to do nothing to improve this service, fine, just reduce the pricing so we aren't constantly taking a...

UPDATED REPORT! Times have changed! New female āharmacist ā bickering and unpleasantly refusing ā med release to customers ā⦠ā you should have enough pills for a few days moreā in the case of her lecture to me and another person before me In lineā¦ā, both diabetics ) not to need a refill yet!ā Yes, the doctor ordered and the insurance paid! In my case, I am 77 years old, with no car, no help, no public transportation in Katy, A ONE MILE trek between home and Heb each way! no nothing!, trying to survive as best I can! Heaven forbid if a pill supply falls out of oneās hands! I am a retired RN, of 50 years! experience! She lectured and refused like an inhumane fool! The favorable weather was of no grace to me today. I asked why a few precious, non control pills can not sit on my shelf as well as on hers. She did not / could not answer or care! No more Heb love from me. I will never patronize such a place again. The other lady, obese and in a wheelchair, was also denied any consideration. What a disgusting disgrace. Insurance pays for meds- she had no right to go around everyone to prove she was a self aggrandized fool. I will not shop heb again for anything! So far I have managed my diabetes well, with no complications of any kind. Heb should, in my opinion, should employ more humans, preferably with some common sense and other human characteristics.( like respect and experience . This āpharmacist ? āgleefully and loudly refused 2 customers what doctors ordered and the insurance companies paid for! She said come back in ā a couple days!ā Maybe Heb needs to stick to trying to to peddle food- although I wonāt patronize - even for that -ever again! Horrible! Stay Away! No...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI do all my shopping at HEB and normally I would give them 5 Stars. They have quality produce, meats, and comparable HEB named items that I actually prefer to the name brands at a decent price. Today however, I think HEB needs to go to bat for their customers. They are letting Sparklett s dictate unfair practice in their stores on Mason and I-10 @ Fry that I know of. A deposit on a water bottle is just that, a deposit due on request. During Harvey, water was in high demand. I stopped by the HEB closest to HCC after school and praise God, they had water. I didn't have my bottles with me, so I bought anyway. Another time, I decided to buy an extra bottle while I was at mason. Now I have 5 extra bottle s. That's $25. I tried to cash in one extra bottle against my purchase at Fry. They gave me a ticket against my next purchase. I thought it was just Fry and told myself that I just won't go to that HEB any more. Today, Mason Rd floor manager did the same thing... So I can not ever get my money back for deposits? HEB is big enough to tell Sparklett s (Primo water bottles) to do the right thing or HEB can change water providers. The machines that collect and dispense tickets have been broken for months at both locations, so it seems Sparklett doesn't care about it s customers at all. I hope someone from PR reads this and does something about it. If I was not sold on the other qualities of HEB, I would go elsewhere. No one was rude, but they played it off as my problem... That they were helpless to change the policy, when I know my cashiers have taken care of it before if I happen to buy a deposit and need to cash in an extra later. I gave them 3/5 because that...
