Welp I'm sort of obsessed with this place and wish I could take it with me. The coffee is smooooooth...if you like burnt coffee this isn't the spot for you. Everything about this place is smooth. The staff, the service and the coffee. Sure... there may be a wait if you don't go early enough but it's worth it, just like the sign says. It's got real charm and the staff are all calm, cool, and collected despite the lines and random Starbucks orders. They are kind, relaxed and super efficient. I was very impressed. You also get a cute glass jar with your coffee that you can return for $1 off your next purchase. From the moment we walked in on our first morning, this café became our daily ritual. The baristas greeted us with genuine warmth, remembering our orders after just one visit—my wife’s perfectly balanced Americano and my rich, frothy cappuccino never disappointed. Paired with fresh, buttery muffins, it was the ideal start to each day of our trip.

Absolutely incredible. After a string of very average (and some not-so-great) coffee stops around the island, my wife and I finally found The Haven and it blew us away. This isn’t just the best coffee in Hanalei, or even on the North Shore. It’s some of the best coffee we’ve ever had, period. Smooth, rich, perfectly balanced… every cup was spot on.

The staff couldn’t be nicer. They were genuinely warm, welcoming, and they gave excellent recommendations. You can tell they care about coffee. We also tried a scone and it was fantastic.

If you’re a coffee lover, this place is absolutely worth the drive. Don’t miss it....
