North Point Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Kawkawlin Township

It was Sunday around 1 or 2 PM. Parking lot seemed pretty full. All tables were full. Luckily we came at the perfect moment to have a table available for our party of 3.

We ordered “wings and fries” from the menu but were told that to get fries they would cost extra because they were served with chips. Then why would you not change the menu item to “wings and chips”? Doesn’t make any sense. We placed this order as an appetizer.

We ordered a holy cow burger, Italian steak burger, and some sort of bbq burger. I asked to have jalapeños added on my holy cow burger.

By the time we got our food the appetizer came out the same time as the entrees did. Our friend took one bite of the wings and spat it out. The inside was cold.... The waitress took the wings and brought them back into the kitchen. We carried on with our meal. My holy cow burger ONLY had jalopeños on it. No lettuce, no tomato, no nothing else. I’m peeved off at this point. Whatever, waitress brought me lettuce and tomato. Fixed that issue. She also brought back the wings for us. Yay! All is good now right? No. Wings were no longer crisp like they were when they came out. The inside was very hot now and not cold which is good I guess. Look if I wanted to microwave some wings and call it good I’d buy a bag at Save-a-lot and do it myself.

Overall, this experience has been a negative one and I would not recommend this establishment to my friends. O’s has similar pricing and a lot better food and service.

Terrible food. Terrible service. I will Not recommend this bar/restaurant. We were never greeted. The service at the bar was slow. The beer was not cold enough.. It was not a busy night. The server never smiled nor seemed friendly. We were never given the fish-menu. We let them know that my meal arrived cold & the baked potato was under-cooked. They said nothing near an apology nor made an offer to fix my concern. The quality of the perch filets was poor-to-mediocre in quality. It was over cooked making it terribly dry. I took my concern to the server, only to be told- "I approached them wrong," basically that I handled my complaint wrong. Ridiculous! I'm the paying customer! They did other things incorrectly- simply put: poor service with a p*ss poor attitude! They were not very attentive. Not impressed with the service. They had a bad attitude. We had high expectations, based on our 1st daytime visit. We were very disappointed. We don't plan to return. I hope people see this post. This establishment is cruising along on a reputation...
