Food good! Serving size is good as for the Turkey sandwiches. Good prices. Manager is nice. I was told it was good ole cooking like grandma always made. (The food is like grandma use to make. I’m middle aged) Stopped in through the drive thru. Coming back from taking my mother to chemo. Easy quick meal. Ordered food all was good. Signed slip and the blonde chick looked at me and said what’s this where’s the tip we are still waitresses and slammed the window. I called the manager asked if we should tip since the window was slammed on me. Didn’t go back a few months. Embarrassed me and kinda made me mad! So DISRESPECTFUL! So the last month or so we have stopped in 3 times there no problems with the other girls thankfully! yes I added a tip so no more DRAMA! No problems! Today coming back from chemo stopped again. I saw the girl in the window looked at my mom and said we should just go, we were 3 cars behind the window. She says no it will be fine just get food. So I pulled up. The girl walked away but must have told the others because they were all SOOOOO RUDE! Got my food. Yes gave a tip. My mom said wow they were rude! I had enough! I turned around and took the food back! Talked to the manger he said others complained also. Got my money back! I’m sorry but the food isn’t that good to be disrespected! I/WE WILL NOT GO THERE AGAIN! I’m sure they are busy enough they don’t care how I was treated but I WILL NOT BE DISRESPECTED! Read moreMy family and I have a tradition of eating at the Turkey Roost around Thanksgiving every year. We usually have a good experience with the food and service. This year however was absolutely horrible. We had a larger group and when we went to sit down at one of the very few longer tables the staff stated that if we sat there we would be back to back with other guests of the restaurant. This was not a concern for us, and there was no where else for our large group to sit, so we continued to sit at this table. I’m not sure if this upset the servers, but we received the worst service. They brought us our food in a timely manor, but never came back to ask us if we needed anything else like desert, or if we wanted a refill on our drinks. They never even gave anyone the bill! My parents noticed that there was a bill sitting at the end of the table, but we had no idea how it arrived there. After reviewing the bill we concluded that it was ours, however they did not split the bill up like we had asked. Instead they put everyone’s food on the same bill. Then when we asked if we could get separate bills they told us no. This was simply the worst service that any of us has ever received anywhere.
