Devil's Pit BBQ Food truck is a must-visit destination for anyone who loves great barbecue. From the moment you walk up to the truck, you can tell that the owner takes great pride in his food. One of the standout features of Devil's Pit BBQ is their wide selection of sauces. Whether you prefer your meat smoky and spicy or sweet and tangy, they have a sauce to suit your taste. Each sauce is made in-house and features a unique blend of spices and flavors that complement the meat perfectly. I particularly enjoyed the spicy habanero and scorpion pepper sauce, which had just the right amount of heat without overwhelming the other flavors. His rasberry spicy sauce is a must try. The meat itself is also outstanding. Whether you opt for the ribs or pulled pork, you can tell that the pitmaster takes great care in preparing it. The meat is tender and juicy, with a rich smoky flavor that is the hallmark of great barbecue. But what really sets Devil's Pit BBQ apart is the owner. He is a genuinely nice guy who clearly loves what he does. He takes the time to talk to customers and make sure that everyone is happy with their meal. You can tell that he takes great pride in his food, and that pride is reflected in every aspect of the experience. Overall, I would highly recommend Devil's Pit BBQ to anyone looking for great barbecue. The food is delicious, the sauces are outstanding, and the owner is a true gem. Read morePretty good BBQ food truck in Farmington (occasionally parked at the Smiths in Farmington). We love supporting local/small business! Service was great and quick. We ordered the brisket, ribs, and pulled pork. The guy gave us the brats for free since it's the only thing we didn't order lol. Everything was vacuum sealed so things stayed "fresh" and mess free on the way home.
The ribs were fall apart good, the kids totally loved those. Pulled pork was flavorful and filling. Brisket was alright, definitely needed a sauce to dip in. Brats were underwhelming for me personally. Great meat and texture. A somewhat flat flavor. Bbq sauces were all on the sweet side. Good flavors though, unique.
Baked beans were great. Dutch oven potatoes.... a bit of a miss for me. Cheesy potatoes or baked potato would be an even better option for me. However, salted, the ones he's currently got are alright.
Altogether a good experience! We are full and happy and enjoyed eating our dinner. Definitely worth giving this food trick a try. (Best to follow his Facebook to know when and where you...
Read moreBeing ex military, I have had the pleasure of experiencing BBQ in many different locations from south/north Carolina to Florida/Georgia and Alabama to Texas to include some overseas adventures. What I have learned in my travels is that everyone has an opinion on what good BBQ is and how to rank/rate their personal experience and what I habe found works for me is simply, did I enjoy the food enough that I would go back for seconds or order from them again. I am no expert in BBQ/brisket or ribs and what makes the meat consumer quality versus competition quality. What I do know is if I personally like it or not, and Devil Pit BBQ not only tasted good for me, it put a huge smile on mine and my wife's face. The God's BBQ Beans were truly a wonderful flavor explosion and the brisket was extremely well done to our liking. We both were highly satisfied and would gladly eat where again and again. Having learned the different options we plan to make a future catering order for some family gatherings! Thanks for the opportunity to enjoy some food cooked...
