Terrible service. We were one of 2 people in the entire bar and the bartender took 10 min to come over...without even a greeting. We had half the menu..the side without the apps..which must have annoyed her cause she slapped the other side down. Whatever..we all have bad days..but it remained the same. We got pop and a drink..no refills and she never came back despite seeing us with empty glasses. Then the bowling alley emptied out..which we sat there for another 25 min with empty lanes...no one came to get us or the other family sitting waiting. Once on the lane (there were 3 of us waiting for lanes) we were stacked on top of each other..even though we didn't need to be. Then we never saw the waitress..so again..no refills on pop or any type of service. There was about 25 total people (1/3 children) in there...not overwhelming. Got our pizza to go due to the lack of service and waited an hour for the pizza....not retruning..over to BC lanes or Gaylord lanes if ur taking ur...
Read moreThis is the worst bowling experience I have ever had. Don't get me wrong, the place is nice and clean but the pricing is so not worth it. On the weekends they only do pay by the hour and with 4 young kids it is not practical. They start the time as soon as you pay so by the time you have 4 kids in shoes you have already lost 13 or 14 minutes. I asked if they could restart the time from when we started bowling and they told me I can only buy more time. Then we wanted to order food, time still counting down, I asked if they could at least pause the time so we could eat and they told me nothing stops the time. My advise.... take the time to drive to gaylord or anywhere else. $80 for exactly an hour and 5 and a half frames of bowling because there is no one that can change anything at this alley. I will never return. I hope in a small town like this that might matter. I am local and I will advise everyone that there is better bowling...
Read moreGreat to see this establishment open again. It appeared to be a family run business. Let's start with the GOOD: 8 lanes of bowling; newly refinished floors, walls, restrooms; laser tag room and equipment; arcade with prizes; food available, pizza looked good. BAD: timed bowling (a HORRIBLE mandatory setup). Three of us were unable to finish 2 games within the hour and I couldn't make my last two throws in the 10th frame. The ball return equipment was bad and required constant staff help to keep our game going (contributing to us not finishing within the paid for hour); poor house ball choices, they removed the 15lb ball I was using due to it getting stuck; finally, no liquor license yet (coming in 2017). Overall, we'll be back when we can have some drinks there and hopefully they offer payment on a "per game" basis and have a "timed" option for people that prefer that. Also hope they get the ball return...
