We have been going to Feng Tong a couple times a year for the better part of 20 years now. We went today got out usual and initially found it to be very expensive. We were then told it was a 45 minute wait because they were busy but realistically there wasn't much going on and light traffic in an out while we waited outside. We got our food in about 40 mins and brought it to a local park. Immediately we noticed something was off. The texture and taste of the crab Rangoon wasn't great at all, pork spare ribs were lacking in their regular robust flavor and were no longer thin and lean like it used to be, beef teriyaki was bland and cooked oddly no char but cooked throughout like it was boiled , fried rice was no longer the great fried rice it was. I will say the chicken fingers were not far off but who messes up chicken fingers.. Immediately went to Google reviews to find out it was under new ownership with a "new cook" . We are upset to discover that Feng Tong is no longer the diamond in the rough that it was and is now just mediocre Chinese cuisine. I'm not opposed to trying it again in a few months one last time to see if anything has changed for the better. I'll post an additional review then. I'm hoping to be wowed next time so that my family can continue to be loyal patrons of Feng Tong.

Read moreCame here on Christmas Eve. Place was quiet and is bare-bones establishment clearly made for take-out only. Wouldn't recommend for a romantic dining experience,.Got home and the food was so minimal. We purchased two take home plates to share between 3 people, with a side order of crab rangoon. They were skimpy on everything. Paid upward of 30 bucks and seriously received only 1 cup of pork fried rice per plate, a cup of lo mein noodles, 3 small chicken fingers with barely any chicken that was all dough, 3 very small teriyaki's that were about 3 inches in length and hard and grissel-y. (see photo evidence, this was before we took any food from plate!) And the worst part is these were the dinner plates! This place is seriously lacking in food quantity and must be cutting costs. The crab rangoons are made with some sort of cottage cheese or ricotta and are really taste-less. Would...
Read moreWorst place in keene for Chinese food. Soggy food. But the problem didn't start at the food as I order from their "online order" tab which brought me to square. I ordered my food then headed to the restaurant where they didn't have my food ready/hadn't started working on. I waited about 20 minutes for my food and then they requested a payment. Which I already paid through square. I showed the lady my receipt and she proceeded to tell me she didn't accept square. Then proceeded to laugh and make it like a joke. So they ended up double charging me. Worst customer service and subpar food. This is my last time as a customer. Go to any other Chinese restaurants as these people clearly can't keep up with the standards of the other...
