Our first time to Lone Star that was recommended by my co-worker. It was our Anniversary weekend and we could have gone anywhere in Keller since we have some many other options, however we said let's give them a try. From the jump walking in no one to greet you, nor seat you. A lady taking the orders walks up and seats us in the back. So, of course we got forgotten about. No water, so silverware until I waved down the bus boy and he went to go get someone and she asked had anyone taken our order? My husband said no and we've been here now for 20mins. Finally by the time someone did come, it was another 10mins. We almost got up and left until we saw a lady walking towards us and said what can I get you'll started? How about an apology on the wait. We ordered, food comes out cold. Biscuits was hard, eggs cold, no coffee like I ordered, and no creamers on the table and we asked for a fresh biscuit. Well it never came. We had to get up and go to the counter to ask for the check to pay and that's when Ms. Traci apologized and said to come back she'll make it right, and I called this morning, and was told she's not a manager to tell you that, so I asked to speak to a manager however attitude, silence is already on 10, and I'm like just make it right dude!! Our one and only time, we will be taking our money elsewhere. Unprofessional and rude. I hear the Arlington location is more professional and definitely would mot have come off as if we owe you something. It's an automatic as customers we get 100% good service, even if you are short staff!! Teach your...
Read moreThis brand new cafe is exactly what we were looking for, it’s on Main Street (HWY 377) between Mt Giliad/Timberland and Keller-Haslet Rd right in front of Milestone Church, and The Lyriq apartments, so easy to find. Now about the food, if you like Texas Country cooking, that’s made to order, I think you will like it as much as we did! My husband and I have eaten there 3 times since they opened, and The Country Skillet is so good he had it two of the three times, really yummy! I love exploring a menu when I try a new place, so the first time I got Pancakes and a side of bacon, Y’ALL, those pancakes smelled so good when they arrived at the table, so vanilla-y and fluffy, as big as the plate! They were delicious too! The second time I tried the Ruben sandwich as we went around lunch time, and I will definitely be getting it again, the third time I got a dish called Hippie Hash with corned beef, if you like hash GET IT! We have also been so happy with the service, they are quick to greet us, get us seated, and there’s a team effort to make sure you’re taken care of, our experiences have been positive, and I hope you give them a try, Keller has a lot of breakfast options, but none of them are competition for this friendly cafe, if you like breakfast/brunch spots, give...
Read moreI recently visited a fantastic brunch spot that I just have to rave about! The place is called “LoneStar Cafe” and it’s located near a charming neighborhood that adds to its inviting atmosphere. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the warm, friendly staff and the delightful aroma of freshly brewed coffee. The décor is bright and cheerful, with lots of natural light pouring in from the large windows, making it the perfect spot to relax on a weekend morning.
Now, let’s talk about the food! I ordered their signature chicken fried chicken with ultimate crisp french fries and impeccable mashed potatoes! It was topped with a savory country gravy, which was absolutely delicious and flavorful. I also couldn’t resist trying their homemade blueberry pancakes, which were fluffy and bursting with fresh blueberries. The maple syrup they served on the side was the perfect finishing touch. My friend opted for the classic eggs Benedict, and she raved about the perfectly cooked eggs and the rich hollandaise sauce and homemade grits!
Overall, LoneStar Cafe is a must-visit for anyone looking for a delightful brunch experience. The combination of great food, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere makes it stand out. I can’t wait to go back and try more...
