Stopped in here because we like sandwiches, and my sons middle name is Bennett, so we thought it would be fun. We got some ham and cheese, turkey and cheese, chicken tenders, port fries, I got the TBLT and my husband got the steak and cheese. They were yummy! The chicken tenders were cooked great, crispy and golden brown. The fries were seasoned well with old bay and side of chipotle mayo. My sub was good, I got the 8” and it was huge, my husband got the 13” and he had meals for two. The girl taking our order was patient as we figured out what we all wanted. Took about 10-15 minutes to get food after placing the order, and cost us nearly $100 for a family of 6 to eat/drink here, so it’s not cheap.

People may say I’m nuts about this review, but my sandwiches weren’t good. I’ve heard great things about their steak and cheese, a sandwich I love and get at a ton of places - so I went out of my way to try it. The major issue was the rolls were not fully cooked on both $13 subs. Felt mushy, steamed and unappetizing. I put them in the oven to make them edible. The steak and veggies were tasty, but due to issues I couldn’t say it was great (even if in a cooked bun). Just okay. I gave them a generous 4 and will try them again. It could have just been an isolated issue. The service was good and quick. It also looked like they had a very coordinated staff and clean kitchen.

I enjoyed Bennett’s Sandwich shop. They have an extensive variety of sandwiches- I went for the falafel sandwich (small) and my partner shared a large Italian Spicy sandwich with his friend. The sizes are very large- even the small was more than enough. I thought the flavors of the falafel sandwich were okay, but I thought the bread was a little undercooked. It was soft but not very flavorful. I think a slightly tougher/well cooked roll would have elevated the taste a bit. They have a large variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, wheelchair access and a single gender neutral restroom.

I stopped here on a whim during my honeymoon in Kennebunk and now I really don't know what to do. It's been a month and I haven't stopped thinking about this tuna sandwich. It was just... perfect? The bread was so soft and tasty, the tuna serving was generously heaped, the tomato and lettuce crisp and fresh. There is nothing out of the ordinary about this tuna sandwich except that when you put all those things together, it's really just the perfect sandwich. Now I'm back in Brooklyn and have tried and failed to recreate the experience. I've gotten tuna sandwiches at upwards of five delis/bagel shops, but none of them are right. They don't give you enough tuna, the bread is not soft enough, the ingredients don't mesh in harmony, etc. etc. I've even tried making it myself but nothing lives up to the Bennett's tuna sandwich of my memory. So I don't know whether I'm really upset that I went to Bennett's and now am a perpetually disappointed tuna-crazed monster, or if I'm grateful to have that beautiful experience just once. Dine at...

Tried the Philly Cheesesteak twice in the past two weeks at this location. On my first visit, I could not taste any cheese on my sandwich. After I scraped away the meat, I saw faint evidence of some cheese on the roll - nowhere near the meat. On my second visit two days ago, I requested (and paid) for extra provolone cheese on my Philly Cheesesteak. Again, I could barely taste or notice any cheese. Is there a cheese shortage that I am not aware of? Additionally, the meat was overcooked and very dry. Very disappointed in the overall quality of each sandwich especially opposite the prices charged for each. So, my rating for this place is (very) average at best. The fact that they advertise Philly Cheesesteaks on their outdoor signage is questionable if my two cheesesteaks are indicative of their normal quality. If you want a good cheesesteak, I would suggest...

We understand that around a holiday will be busy, but any business is expected to be transparent with its customers. Placed an online order and was told to pick up shortly after noon. Arrived at pickup time and waited, and waited, and waited. Asked an employee for an update, as were many other customers, and was told it will be right out. Long story short, waited about 45 minutes. No updates from the staff, was told it will be out “shortly”. Walked out 45 minutes after the scheduled pickup time and disputed the charge. Great food, but such poor and unprofessional customer service. We all understand the store is busy, but figure out how to give a reasonable estimated pickup time. Problem with the vendor you use for online orders? Then figure it out or get a new vendor....
