KJ's Place — Restaurant in Kenner

This place rocks! There's really no better way to say it. Amanda and Kara are legit the best bartenders I've ever come across!! This is a good time kind of place with the hometown feel of your local dive bar. Karaoke is very fun with the community rallying around the planned evenings. I seriously was in town 9 hours before I stumbled across this establishment and I was not disappointed. For dive bar food it was great! The drinks are reasonable and the karaoke Is fantastic!! If you happen to come in during Kara or Amanda's shift you're in a good place to start the evening. I can't wait to come back to Kenner to come back...

What a great place! It's our last night in town and came here because it's close to our hotel near the airport. Walking in the door we were greeted with a loud, genuine "hello, welcome!" Drinks are inexpensive and served by a smiling, friendly bartender. It was steak night so that's what we had. Cooked perfectly. Couldn't have been a better experience. Disregard the reviews about smoking here - this is now a non-smoking...

Well, too much smoke going on in there. I stayed outside the entire time. Who brags about killing people with lung cancer? I mean that place is 100 years behind. With that being said the customers were diverse, but I don't think the staff was. Everyone seemed friendly and people were engaging each other. It seemed like a nice too smoky...
