Baba's Standing Room Only — Restaurant in Kenosha

BIG MISTAKE! We took a ride from Chicago just to get some lunch and spend time at the lake there. Looking for lunch spots there wasnt alot but Big Lou had some good reviews. BIG MISTAKE! First of all Big Lou is little and so is the place. About 3 small tables on the inside. Philly steak etc made different ways. Hubby ordered steak bacon and pineapple and bbq sauce, I ordered the same only with chicken. Both a mistake. The bread was from a package and spongey the chicken was cubed and the pinnaple from a can! With fries this meal cost is 28.00 bucks and we shared a bottle of 7 up. Don't waste your time here, don't spend your money here and please don't get ripped off here like we did. Also I forgot to mention we weren't sure we were in the right place from our map and when we mentioned we thought we might be, a tall worker cleaning tables I don't know her name said in a rude voice, 'oh adios...

I decided to go back after many years, and I am very disappointed with their service. This lady takes her time to take your order, she does not greet or welcome you. Once my order is ready, she goes out to give me the order and tells me all is in there as I take a peek and quickly notice all sandwiches were there. I get home and find out cheese curds for my daughter were not there. I called a few times and no one answered, finally she gets on the phone and picks up with an attitude and almost yelling “Can you please oder online!” I immediately said I am not placing and order you forgot my cheese curds. She got me really mad as she did not even apologize at all she just said ohh we can drop some for you. Please show this person how to properly answer the phone so she can find out what the customer is calling for and better help...

Coming from someone who appreciates an incredibly well made authentic Philly cheese steak sandwich, this place is not to be missed! Cheesesteak sandwiches are their specialty and WOW, they really know their stuff! SUPER DELICIOUS!!! Of the multiple variations they offer, we had the "Standing Room Only" which was so incredible we ordered two more and couldn't resist eating them right there on the spot!!! The only reason I'm not giving this place five stars is because of the limited space and slightly high prices which I'm sure are justified by the tremendous amount of business they draw. Also, for their seasonal hours.
