Don't be fooled under the old management. This place was really good and you got a lot of food but I've gave them several tries now. Their plate lunches are very very skimpy and their breakfasts are the same way. Portions are very small especially on the plate lunch. I could have ate three of those. I mean there were 11 green beans on the plate and there was like a small tablespoon of mashed potatoes. Don't be turned off by the fact this country gem is next to a gas station. Great country breakfast like Grandma used to make. Giant homemade biscuits and cream gravy a must. Quaint cafe where the tables have wear marks worn by the cafe coffee cups. The owner, Rocky, came by our table -- very friendly and attentive. Wait staff also attentive. The waitstaff got several of our orders wrong. Then when checking out they tried to charge me by itemizing everything individually which would have been quite costly. I got a meal and then added a $1.00 item. I had to correct her. Which is tacky but I didnt want to be overcharged. We had 6 adults and 2 children and a waitress checked on us only one time.
