OakBrook Bakery — Restaurant in Kentucky

Don't get me wrong, this place has great donuts with reasonable hours. However, they have TERRIBLE service. On multiple occasions now we have had very rude encounters. The first was rough, but we thought, maybe it was a rough day, let's give them another try. It definitely wasn't another try that was needed. The staff is not helpful, they rush you, and are frustrated when you or your kids make a decision for more than 0.2 seconds. Our order took no more than 4 minutes, start to finish, for multiple dozens of donuts/pastries. The entire 4 minutes, the staff member was EXTREMELY condescending and rolling her eyes as we tried to place our order. I understand they are busy and need to keep things moving quickly, but that doesn't give them the right to be rude. It is very off putting and really deters us from wanting to visit again. I truly hope this review helps the business adjust their demeanor more than anything. The donuts are great, when they actually have what their signs say they do. But I am not sure any donut is good enough for the owner’s attitude. I came in and asked about their banana creme pie donut and was raving to the girl behind the counter about how good they are and how I have never seen one quite like it. She motioned to the male in the back to tell him what I was saying, and he ignored us. Continued on his phone and didn’t even say thank for the compliments. Unfortunately, this was not the last time I was in there with his attitude and the more I talk about it, the more I come to find that lots of people have this exact issue here and have gone as far as to tell people not to go there, so I felt like this review was necessary. Donuts were dry, they're three people working and only one person getting food causes long waits especially when the person in front of you orders three dozen donuts but doesn't even eat them? That's what he said... They didn't have any coffee available, when I asked but while finishing my order she made sure to stop and get coffee going. Thanks but no thanks should of been ready when y'all opened up. Second most why is this place filled with smoke every time? Do y'all not have vents? Burns your freaking eyes when you walk in.

Last of all I'll be giving this place one more chance if yy'all do better I'll update my review if not sticking with Dunkin donuts for now on lest they have coffee ready and...
