Hong Kong Restaurant — Restaurant in Kerman

I have been going to Kerman Hong Kong for 25+ years. It is a Kerman staple. And it is consistent.

Well I just recently went and took my food home only to see that it was not my usual order. I called the restaurant and after me prying and trying to get a answer I was notified that ownership has changed and so has the cook.

So if you are reading this in February 2024 and you go into the remodeled building, just walk out the door. It is nothing like the OG!!

The fact that they couldn't even tell me in a straight forward way that they had changed ownership was just uncalled for.

Now I had to take my food back because I was not going to eat terrible food in today's economy. 2 plates of food was over $32!

So not only had the ownership changed, food changed, but also their prices.

First time here, we came in to do a takeout order. We got the spicy shrimp and potstickers, which were both tasty. From the looks of it, the place could use some upgrades, but that's just cosmetic. Oh and the cashier/owner (I'm gathering from the reviews) didn't seem to like that I asked for fortune cookies. The look on her face was one of "don't really want to, but here you go". I used to love this place but today their service was terrible 😣 my family and I were waiting for over 30 minutes to get our food served and when I went to ask them how much longer was it going to take they just gave me attitude. The waitress never came back to our table and they were having a terrible attitude towards us. The cook was excellent and he even apologized.
