Bakery Bar – A Cozy Gem in Kewaunee
Bakery Bar in Kewaunee is a must-visit for anyone who loves a welcoming atmosphere, great food, and a touch of local charm. The scratch-made bakery items, crafted with regional ingredients, are the star of the show—everything from fresh pastries to hearty breads is full of rich, homemade flavor. The bar side offers a great selection of drinks, making it a perfect spot for a casual gathering or a quiet afternoon treat.
The ambiance is a delightful mix of historic and refreshed, with a beautiful tin ceiling that adds character and a recent remodel that brings warmth and comfort. The staff is as friendly as they are spirited, always ready with a smile and great conversation. A particularly nice touch is the clean and toasty-warm bathroom—a small but much-appreciated detail on a cold Wisconsin day.
Live music on Friday afternoons adds to the charm, creating a lively yet laid-back atmosphere that locals and visitors alike can enjoy. If there’s one small wish for improvement, it would be just a bit more attention to keeping tables clean for the next guest—though with such a bustling, welcoming space, it’s easy to see how things stay lively.
All in all, Bakery Bar is a fantastic stop whether you’re in the mood for a fresh-baked treat, a drink with friends, or just a cozy place to unwind. It’s a true gem in Kewaunee’s food and...

The sausage and bacon were just avarage store bought. Nothing special. The Jalapeño jam was not good at all. It was overly sweat with no kick to indicate it had peppers in it. I know this is a local place and that's why we gave it a try but honestly I would not...

While the selection may be limited, what is available is made fresh and they are constantly whipping up tasty treats right there in front of you. Prices start at a couple of singles and go up.
Bonus, everyone working seemed happy to be there... that always makes for...
