Waterfront Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Kewaunee

Came in and attempted to seat ourselves. There were plenty of seats available at one of the long tables, and we had agreed with the two folks sitting there already to share the table. The bartender came over and condescendingly told us we aren’t allowed to do that and implied we were trying to kick the current patrons out of their seat and that we would have to either wait or leave. Embarrassing hospitality for a Wisconsin business.

Edit to respond to owner: We do resent the implication that we would ever invade someone's table without asking. All six of us audibly heard that the folks sitting at the table didn't mind if we pulled up a chair and sat with them while they waited for the rest of their party to complete their game of pool. Good lord in heaven what an incredible place to eat 😍 We stopped at a antique shop across the hwy and I asked the nice people running the store what was the best bar and grill for eats and they mentioned the Waterfront Bar and Grill so we hopped back on the Harley and drove over to find out how good this place is, I'll tell you next time we are riding thru Kewaunee this will be or stop! Went in for lunch on a Sunday arrived around 11:30 A.M. seated right away and food order was taken for three of us. Drinks were delivered quickly but then we were ignored for close to an hour, no follow-up's see how we were doing, no eye contact, no asking for refills. Were were waiting at the bar to pay for the drinks and leave because this is beyond reasonable especially when the people next to us who arrived 10 minutes after we did got their food first.
