I had the shrimp, not much you can do wrong with peel and eat shrimp, my wife had the quesadilla and there was burned fried cheese on the outside that just didnt taste good at all. The service was beyound bad. When the waitress came to take our order she cooked her head to the side and said well... when we first ordered our drinks I received a coke instead of a jack and coke. My wifes drink was overly sweet. After tak8ng our order we did not see the waitress again till she bought the bill. We ended up flagging down the staff or walking over to the bar. If not for the great atmosphere there would have been very little to say positive here. Just to give you a little perspective on how long it took to get our drinks, when we checked in our room wasn't ready so they did a precheckin, we went to dry rocks ordered our drinks after sitting there for 15 minutes. 5 minutes later I got a call from the front desk letting us know they had our room ready. I went down to the front desk and was 3rd in line with only 1 person at the front desk. After checking in, 20 plus minutes later I return to our table where my wife was stillpatiently waiting our drinks to arrive. Then they dropped off the coke. Took that to the bar, let them know and return to the table. We watched the bar tender ask a couple people about then once they found our waitress the bar tender made our drinks and gave them to her. Hum think someone forgot to take the order up. There policy of including the tip of 20% hurts their servers motivation to provide...

Lovely resort hidden away from the eye, great chill atmosphere. Overall could be a nice experience but unfortunately the whole enterprise being the hospitality business, severely lacks hospitality.

We had booked a day pass experience and reception desk of a staff of 2 was majorly preoccupied servicing 1 guest, without any recognition of the fact that other guests are waiting in line. Once they liberated themselves, they tended to me. Provided the bracelet and unless asked, directed us to the beach.

During lunch, we visited Dry Rocks. The name speaks for itself. Dry. From a very moderate menu, everything was dry: steak tacos - please do not order. The meat is dry as hell. I’m 30 and consider to have very good teeth line - couldn’t chew any of it, spitting the leftovers of un chewable meat. Fish tacos. Next best - hard no, you won’t find the fish in the taco. Small slice covered with pico de gallo mix. Feel like chef has just got acquainted with Latin culture. No concept of flavor. The I said let’s go to the safe bet: guac and chips. Why!??? God. Fail. Guac just got scooped off the avocado shell, sprig of cilantro added. They’re either short on salt, pepper and seems like there’s a major shortage of cilantro as well. No flavor, no taste. Getting the order to the table also took good 30 minutes. That’s for the place that sells nothing but tacos, guys.

Much higher expectations. Will we come back after paying $150 per person for a day pass? Driving all the way from Miami? I don’t think so. It was an...

So, be very careful here! This place haa some shady staff. Kimono, wanted us to just pay the check without even bringing the check to us. He seemed offended when we asked for the bill so we could see what we are actually paying for. I have never been asked to pay a bill without actually seeing it. There was a service charge for $38.80 already added on. Which was never stated anywhere; nor did he inform us. He really didn't give us that much actual service. We had to frequently flag him down to ask for things. We Ordered 2 pizzas to go that were supposed to be 12 inches each. They gave us the smaller Flatbread pizzas but charged for the bigger ones!!! When questioned about that, " oh, we are out of that". Don't just make something else and Charge for the higher price!!! Then the "manager", Janelle Rose, came over and was very argumentative with us and rude! Speaking over me as I was explaining our concerns. She "fully supports" her staff even though they are doing let's say unconventional business practices. After we paid the check, she followed us to the parking lot and continued to curse us out. Very ghetto people here!!! Please try to hire more upscale staff for this very nice...

Nestled along the shores of the Florida Keys, this bar offers more than just a place to grab a drink – it's an experience in itself. Perched within Bakers Cay Resort, this beachfront bar boasts stunning views of the ocean, creating the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable evening. Live music sets the stage for a lively atmosphere, adding to the already bustling energy of the place. It's no surprise that this bar is always busy, especially with the option to take your drinks right to the beach, allowing you to sip cocktails while sinking your toes in the sand. Despite the crowds, the service remains friendly and attentive, ensuring that each guest feels well taken care of. The cleanliness of the place is also notable, adding to the overall sense of comfort and relaxation. While the prices may be on the higher side, the quality of the drinks more than justifies the cost. From classic cocktails to innovative concoctions, the bar offers a wide selection to suit every taste palate. In essence, this bar encapsulates the essence of beachside bliss – vibrant ambiance, friendly service, picturesque views, and delicious drinks. It's the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the beauty of the Florida Keys.

We really enjoyed our time at Dry Rocks. Our server, Andito, was AMAZING. Our drinks and food came quickly and Andito made sure to check in regularly and made sure to aknowledge our anniversary, which was so sweet! We got pina coladas, which were delicious, and the shrimp lobster nachos which we LOVED. We highly reccomend both. The swing booths and view were outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed it and even came back the next day for the same thing, although the service was not great the next time - the servers were slow/one was rude, the nachos were a bit inconsistent (had less toppings than the previous time), and we disliked our drink (a paloma). During our second visit, the female bartender was rude and ignored me and the people next to me for quite some time to the point where I went to the other bar stand to get a drink. Food service took a while to get despite several employees standing nearby, and a dirty straw was left on the bar in front of me. Our nachos came before our drinks the second time. Overall, our first experience with Andito was so amazing that I am still giving 5 stars, but the rest of the crew needs to get closer to her level!
