We visited for dinner (Wed) and lunch (Thr) in late December 2024. The faciality looks very new and modern. The waitress was very nice but also a bit strange when taking our order for dinner. We were staying over in the houseboat with a full kitchen but we just wanted to supplement our dinner and try something extra.

After looking at the menu and the prices, we decided we'd just grab some soup for take out. We tried to order Conch Chowder that is printed on their menu but she said they didn't have any but had clam chowder instead. We order 3 of those and a Chicken Tortilla soup.

When we ordered it the waitress also said that it could take awhile for our order to be ready. We were very confused because it was just 4 "bowls" of soup... were they making it from scratch?

She handed us a number and said she would bring it out to us. So we took a seat. Not surprisingly, it didn't take very long before she stepped out of the kitchen with our soup, plated to be dine-in. She apologized and said she would go and repackage it for to-go order.

Both soups were very meh. Not worth the price at all. Would not order again.

The next day we did the backcountry boat tour and decided to get lunch before we headed out of the park. So we stopped by because it was really our only option and ordered: Mahi-Mahi Wrap with Plantain chips (very good) Mahi-Mahi Sandwich with Fries (good; small fish fillet) Cubano Sandwich with Fries (very good) Cheeseburger with Fries (good; kid ate it all) Chicken Tender with Fries (good; kid ate it all) Smoked Fish Dip (okay; not bad but wasn't worth price)

Overall the lunch food wasn't bad and it took a reasonable amount of time to be made. The price was very steep but when there is only really one option around, you can charge almost whatever you want. While I wouldn't come back here if this restaurant was located anywhere else, because it is the only option here in Flamingo you don't got a choice. We would probably eat here again for the sake of convenience if we were staying in Flamingo.

On the plus side. The views and facilities themselves were amazing. There was also outside seating and the place was decorated for the holiday season. So...

We walk in and the bartender is looking at his phone and doesn’t look up for a full minute while we wonder if we are supposed to seat ourselves. It went downhill from there with do it yourself for everything. We got our drinks, got back up to place each order. The food was brought to us by a friendly food runner but she informed us we had to get our own plastic utensils and napkins. Had to get back up to see where our dinner was (bartender forgot to send it in), back up for another drink, bus your own table, get up to pay. Not relaxing at all! Food was okay - coconut shrimp was the best, bean burrito (came with chicken which we didn’t want but ate it), mahi wrap okay. We realize this was the slow season but there were only 4 tables and a couple bar patrons which was manageable for 2 staff. For a national park I would like to see less plastic (utensils and water cups). The food plates were reusable baskets and ceramic and the bar drinks were glass at least. Part of our disappointment was the fond memories of the previous restaurant which was fine dining in the old building with huge picture windows looking out at Florida Bay, at a...

I don't even know where to begin with this. Me and my family were visiting Everglades and wanted to eat somewhere. It was 3:04 pm when we placed our order and we asked them to try and make it quicker because we were all very hungry. Staff said yes and then we waited... FOR A WHOLE HOUR! We didn't receive our food until 4:03 pm and that was only after the fact that we went up and asked them about our order. They couldn't have even brought the already made food out to show that there is even someone in that kitchen of theirs. THE FOOD WAS SO MID I HAVE NEVER HAD SOME MID ASS WINGS LIKE I DID AT THIS PLACE. THEY GAVE A SMALL TIN OF RANCH FOR 6 MASSIVE WINGS. NOT TO MENTION THAT THE PORTION SIZES ARE TERRIBLY SMALL YOU CAN'T EVEN FEED A 5 YEAR OLD THIS FOOD AND KEEP THEM FULL. The only reason the atmosphere is 2 is because we weren't eating in a literal dumpster. Pretty ironic that they know their food takes light years to prepare that they have boardgames to play while you wait an eternity to get food. You have to pay for your food before you receive it which is SO ODD TO ME??!! We gave an $18 tip...... DO NOT EAT HERE UNDER ANY...

This was almost a hidden restaurant we found accidentally while covering the flamingo side of the Everglades. The mosquitoes near the Flamingo visitor center didn't push us a lot, but I'm glad we explored this place. They didn't have salads and other couple items around 5 pm, but even within the limited selection of food, we left smiling. I highly recommend their nachos (comes with salsa, salsa Verde, sour cream), wings, and chicken empanadas. All things were cooked to perfection and the tables had such informative Florida maps that we were hooked till the food arrived. It's located on the first level, so we could see the sun setting. Although the walk near the visit center after the food just adds to the experience.

After a full day in Everglades National Park we ended at Flamingo and it was great to find this restaurant. There's a variety of food to order as well a full bar. You have to pick up the menu and order at the counter. The food comes served to your table. We had the smoked fish dip and conch chowder sour soup as appetizers. We also had the Mahi-Mahi Sandwich. The food was good. I say the service was ok because we had to pick up the table afterwards. The view is nice and there is outdoor seating available.
