Cheeky Doughnuts — Restaurant in Kimberly

I'll try to be brief...they offer the best donuts I have ever had. This is saying a lot as I have searched this country high and low for the best donuts.

I love doughnuts, and as I told their staff...they've now ruined doughnuts for me. No other donut I have ever had has matched this and I can't imagine I'll find another one that come close to this. The brown butter maple donut is divine. The cinnamon sugar is not far behind. The specialty donut today was gingerbread, this was a good fit as I love gingerbread--it was spectacular.

The bakery is a very cute...my favorite part is that you get to see them make the donuts.

The staff really likes donuts and you can tell they take great pride in what they do. On top of that they are incredibly friendly and warm. It is a family operation which only adds to the charm! Wow! What an awesome experience. These donuts are fresh to order. Absolutely melt in your mouth and warm. I ordered the pack of four and intended for two to make it home.... however, they did not. These are addictive and tasty. I really liked the raspberry flavor. And definitely the maple. I paid $15 for four donuts. I suppose I can understand the high price with the quality and local ingredients, however this is not affordable to have all the time, or for big groups. I will definitely return occasionally.

My only other suggestion would be to add hot chocolate to the menu. It would have been nice to sit inside and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate. (I'm not a...

This is a beautiful place! The owner helped us at the counter and took the time to be personable even she didn't know us, and had a line of customers waiting. Those extra 15 seconds showed us that she cared about us and our experience, and also that we were supporting a genuine person with good values.

The doughnuts were also superb. They are fried fresh and have the most elegant yet familiar flavors. My wife couldn't stop thinking about the maple browned butter for weeks afterward, and although I'm not always a huge fan, the cardamom ended up my favorite.. Try them all! They might surprise you!!
