Finally got a chance to eat there with a new friend who had been there before. I had the Turkey Carver Sandwich, and he had the Taco Salad. Both offerings were ample serving sized and we both enjoy our selections. Several other items on the menu sounded great too, so perhaps I’ll get to try more at another point. The service was quick and pleasant, the pricing seemed fair .. and the water glasses large enough you don’t have to keep asking for more water. I do think if they moved some outside table to the Ice Cream side of the building it would help the outdoor seating arrangement keeping diners out of direct sun.. just a thought from my friend and I agreed with him.. I’ll likely try it again and get more pictures / details will then follow.. Go see it for yourself! Btw the owners own other eateries nearby as noted on the placemats (as my friend pointed out to me)..So go try them all! I plan to! .. Update: I returned to try something on their breakfast menu.. I had a Swiss omelet with hash browns.. I enjoyed it fully and I think it’s the first time I emptied my plate! My friend did likewise.. we enjoyed the food and the fine service. Now I’m eager to try more items like the Chicken salad w glazed walnuts n cranberries!

Stopped because I was hungry for breakfast. Heard many things about a good breakfast here. I ordered a ham egg and cheese sandwich in a kaiser roll with one egg, over medium, cheddar cheese and lettuce. Got it all except the lettuce. Come on, I just wanted lettuce on the breakfast sandwich and I let you keep one egg. The egg was done perfectly tho. Waited on by Gabbie, who told me she was soon to be the owner. She was friendly, polite and professional. But missed the lettuce on my sandwich. The sandwich was good, even without the lettuce. 7.95 for this sandwich, too expensive if you ask me. And they got to keep the extra egg. They have a big menu and ice cream too. Lots of great outdoor seating, it was decorated very sweet. Lost a star because they forgot my lettuce :(

I went to the recently renamed former Ginny’s now Gaby’s ( not to be confused with the Pizza place in Flemington ) both my friend and I had a Burger .. I wanted Onion rings instead of fries… the switch was a $2.25 up charge?? . The burger was a bit small I thought and maybe the onions/mushroom topping was the cause.. but it was quite greasy . I looked around and other choices seemed a bit better . Maybe they will watch the oily topping in the future . It’s a popular place and some of the dishes I saw looked very decent portions and folks were enjoying their dishes. I’d say give it a try .. I’ll try something else next time . And I do plan to go back .

Cute place. Great for breakfast ONLY. However stay away for lunch. You be better to travel another mile either way for much better food and service. Slow kitchen. Long wait times for orders for a few folks sitting in the dining room. Servicers are inexperienced, because those who are good aren't working for Gabys. Current servicers just take orders and drop food. They don't follow up with customers to check if food is ok or if you need anything else. Lunch is Awful... everything is boxed and reheated or fried. All lunch meats including burgers are terrible - cheap. Eaten here many times when it was Jenny's. Since new owners as Gaby's the kitchen has gone down hill. Cheap cheap nasty food. Owner / hostess is unprofessional and doesn't know or is educated enough in the restaurant business to NOT question or argue with customer on the floor. ..Yikes...most folks from NJ, NY will not be returning to this establishment....need to do a drive bye straight into Frenchtown or...

Stopped in for lunch with a buddy while we were out on our motorcycles. Moderately busy for a Tuesday early afternoon. I had an iced tea (seems to be fresh brewed with good tea flavor) and Cuban sandwich with potato salad instead of fries. The sandwich was good, but just a little soggy from the pickle slices, but I would order it again. The potato salad was very good ("home"made?) with celery for a little crunch and distinct flavor- I would definitely choose that again over the usual fries. My buddy really enjoyed his burger- even asking the server if they can accommodate groups since he has some motorcycle friends that appreciate a good burger and he wanted to bring them here. Overall a very satisfying meal and I will go back again to try other things on the fairly extensive menu. NOTE: While we ate inside, there is a patio with table service and there are also several picnic tables outside if you get your food as take-out. They also have a walk-away ice cream window (although we did...
