Angelo's Pizzeria & Ice Cream — Restaurant in Kirtland

Hands down THE BEST cheese pizza I have ever had. I usually don't like sheet style pizza but the pizza I got today far exceeded my expectations. We also ordered the spaghetti and meatballs dinner and we got enough to split between two adults. The pasta sauce is tangy with a nice tomato flavor, very clean and organic tasting, and it came with a fresh salad, amazing homemade Italian dressing and garlic bread, we got the Angelo calzone with sausage and peppers which was AMAZING and last but not least a grilled chicken salad with more of that yummy Italian dressing. We got delivery so we didn't get to try any ice cream and you can't order drinks I don't think though I didn't ask, I just went by the online menu but no complaints here. It was hard to narrow down what to order from the menu. We will probably order another cheese pizza for dinner tonight that's how good their pizza is. I wish I would have known about them sooner. Earlier this afternoon, I ordered from Angelo's pizza. I ordered a calzone. Before ordering, I asked specifically what all came in the calzone. The employee stated that there was just ricotta, provolone and mozzarella cheese. I ordered it minus the ricotta. When the order came, I bit in to it and found marinara (I am allergic to tomatoes) inside. I called the business asking what they could do for me. The employee that answered (different than the first time) proceeded to argue with me that they only "put the tiniest bit of marinara sauce" in their calzones. He then said "that's just how we make them". After asking him again why the employee did not tell me when I explicitly asked what was in their calzones, he again said that's how we make them. He then he began to get rude and loud and ask me what I wanted. I told him I was never ordering from Angelo's again. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I will be ordering from Teresa's pizza from now on.

The food for me was good. My sons food was good. My daughters food was pretty bad. My son got a chef salad and sn. His was good. He got a calzone.My daughter got a ,ravioli it was full of water. I don't think they drained it properly it ran into the sauce and was water down like soup.i order eggplant parmigiana and they left the skin on. I can't digest that skin. The waitress was so slow that if I was homeless I could have slept there! We did not get refills on our drinks and she didn't understand when I asked for a takeout container for my left overs!I never got one! I really don't think rhe waitressing is her cup of tea!
