I’m giving this place a 2 star because I had a horrible experience especially since it was my first time at this place. Food was okay but the service was the worst I’ve ever experienced in my life. I ordered my food for dine in and was having trouble swallowing so I asked the waitress for water. I was told by the waitress her manager doesn’t allow them to give customers water because people use the cups for free soda at the soda fountain. I was in so much discomfort that a customer who saw how much distress I was feeling ran to her car to get me a bottle of water .The manager came to me to have a conversation about the situation and told me he was going to talk to the waitress. During our conversation his wife walked to us and told us she just wanted to listen to what our conversation was. The manager offered us a refund or a gift certificate as a way of rectifying the situation during our conversation which the wife said she disagrees with his decision. The manager gave us a refund and told us we are banned from the place and threatened to call the police on us after handling us the refund receipt. I was shocked on how this situation was handled and they showed how they don’t care about their customers comfort and safety. I’m deeply appalled and offended by how they treated us and handled the situation. Edit: The owner never came to me to tell me to leave the premises because I was sitting in my car ready to leave because of how I was treated. My dining partner came to the owner and asked why she can’t come back no more. The only communication I had with the owner was when me my dining partner and his wife was having a conversation about my chocking scare and my dining partner’s unfulfilled orders. I do not know what transpired between my dining partner and the owner but it’s just the fact that I got a non factual response about the owner telling me to leave and never come back is beyond my comprehension when I was sitting in my car waiting for my dining partner because I was ready to leave. I hope this establishment learns from this situation and do better next time.
