I was very happy to find this place. It's one of those vanishing motel-Cafe-bar combinations that used to be popular back when. I liked the clientele at the bar, they were friendly, the bartender was great, Miller High Life was readily available, and I generally had a good time. It's a big selling point that I can actually enjoy a few drinks when traveling, but not have to worry about leaving my rig sit somewhere unfamiliar or possibly drive beyond the limit in a state I am not familiar with. That's a great deal of convenience supplied to me by this business. The rooms too were good. The one I got was a veritable time capsule. Sure, there was some wear, and some items were slightly imperfect, but I really enjoyed it. The bathroom was right out of the fifties with an all tile shower, and the construction of the building itself is rather unique. All the old fashioned features made me happy. I would definitely stay there again.

5-8-23 new review. I have been visiting this establishment for nearly 30 years. Several owners, many many waitresses and different cooks. But last night was a complete disaster while there were only three tables with folks. We had to wait an hour for a pizza roll and a salad with shrimp! My side salad consisted of wilted lettuce. My pistol roll as they call it wasn't cooked long enough. My wife's salad with shrimp was the same consistency. The waitress was new but she was wonderful. I'm sorry we had to experience this and then pay $50 plus tip for the ride. Open on a Monday night! We all had wings and they were great! Then we all had burgers, hit the spot. Service and food was wonderful, shout out to the cook Patty

Stayed here because of the Friday the 13th connection after visiting Blairstown. If we didn't have plans in the area the next day we would have gone home after seeing the room. Bugs in the light fixture, cobwebs on the ceiling and walls, suspicious red streaks and stains on the ceiling. Everything smelled of smoke. Dirty glasses at the bar. Waitress constantly touching her hair and putting her fingers in the drinks she was making. Also saw her cough on the garnishes. Waited a long time to get the check because they were too busy chatting. Don't make the same mistake !

Now this is definitely a place to go if you want to get away for a night or two or even the weekend. There is a place to eat on the premises which is the restaurant and they also have a bar there as well. It's located right on 46 with a well-known Eatery right next store to it. The place is called Humpty juniors which is known and Warren County to have the best burgers. The rooms there are very nice. Has a wooded Hunter like theme to it and you can get HBO among other channels as well the only downside is sometimes the water pressure might suck a little bit and there is no wifi. And the cell phone reception is almost non-existent. But I mean if you are trying to drop off the map and get away from all the hustle and bustle then this is the place to go. I put a four-star review due to the fact that it's very secluded and you can get away from all your troubles there and I would have put 5 and there was WiFi because then at least you could have made phone calls with your cell phone without having to step outside and wave your hand around in the air like a maniac to get service other than that very comfortable beds awesome TV bar in the front restaurant in the front and awesome well-known Eatery to the right definitely...

This review is for the restaurant in the motel. The food is mostly good but the service is probably the slowest I’ve ever experienced. My husband and I came here 3-4 times over the course of about 2 months. We’ve only been here for dinner and it’s always been 2 waitresses who also do the bar. It’s a small place though, so you’d think it’s enough, especially since there were never standing people at the bar - everyone was sitting comfortably, not overly crowded, but maybe they need more staff, I don’t know… Every time it took a long time to get our food. I’m pretty sure it took around 30-40 mins to get our food last night after we ordered. When we finally got our food it was soggy like it had been sitting for awhile after it was prepared. We ordered nachos and pizza. We will not be going back. I’m giving them 2 stars because the food was good the first few times, but the service was...
