Review is for a wedding rehearsal diner:
We first visited when they first opened under the original management. We had a great time, food, and service. At this time we let the manager know we wanted our rehearsal diner their many months in advance. We agreed on terms of food buffet and axe throwing. She stated we were going on her books and to get ahold of her three weeks before to confirm numbers as we gave her a range of 30-40 people. We could not get ahold of her and the restaurant stated we would get back to you when we called three weeks before.
The Monday of the wedding the new manager had called us and said we were not on their books and have no record as the old manager left, but would honor hosting the event. We wanted to have a burger buffet with two sides and the free axe throwing included like before. She agreed to the axe throwing but said it would be easiest to order individually with one drink order under the same tab. The manager assured us she would be there helping the entire night.
When we arrived we found out the waitresses where not aware of the party situation and started individual tabs for everyone. We discussed with the new manager what was going on and sent a waitress to get drink orders, she only took one tables worth of orders at that time. We arrived at 5pm and our food orders were not taken until 6, everyone was to choose there topping and one of two choices for a side. At this same time the manager had left to go home for the day.
Following orders we talked to a waitress about opening up axe throwing as it was already 7pm with no food. As people started to sign the waiver it was brought to our attention axe throwing will cost us $20 per person, per hour, and we had 34 people. We told her of the agreement and the waitress would not honor it since the manager left.
At about 830pm our food started to come out. There was no order to what came out and the waitress scribbled over the orders so you could not tell what was what. It also made it more difficult as a majority of the orders were wrong. The bride and groom ended up serving the food and taking new orders to get the food correct. At this time we regret we did not force them into a buffet, and we did sit next to where buffet type serving tables and dishes were.
We do give the server credit for serving all 34 of us alone and did force them to give her the full tip as the owner wanted it split with a server that was not helping. In the end they did not charge us for axe throwing and gave us a slight discount on food. This took a long conversation with our brides maid and server not tied to our...
Read moreWe were there the day after Christmas and had a group of 7. We were the first and only table there when they opened. We waited an hour and 10 min for food and half of it was wrong and it was all cold. Even if it were free, I wouldn’t eat there again. And we are not picky eaters. For the good - axe throwing was fun, but if it’s your first time, you might want to go somewhere with more instruction before you try it. Highly disappointed and we chose to come here, rather than drive a few extra miles (from where we live) to Peoria where they have a much better axe throwing set up...

No delays in seating, food was and drinks were timed out perfectly and tasted amazing. If you have been here in the past and had issues I highly recommend that you give them another chance. Faith is doing a fantastic job and has really turned the place around, and the rest of the crew are on point making sure you have everything that you need in a timely manner. Great job to all and we...
