Monamie Coffee — Restaurant in La Vergne

What a cute little coffee shop on South Nolensville Road. We just happened to pass by it and decided to stop and see it on the way home. I loved that they have outside seating both in the front and back of the shop. It’s in a plaza setting with good parking. It looked like comfy seating inside, but we got our drinks to go or I would have taken a picture of my latte. I ordered a coconut latte and found it sweet with a deep non bitter flavor, very smooth with no after taste. I would like to go back and sample more drinks. The man making the coffee said they get their beans from a broker in AZ which they procure from multiple places, so although the quality seemed good in my one drink, over time we’ll see if it changes. The service was very nice, the atmosphere excellent and I throughly enjoyed the product. Keep up the good work...

The French theme at Monamie is charming but the charm at this shop goes deeper than just the decor. One of my favorite things about this coffee shop was how comfortable the environment was. The shop provides space for you and a friend to catch up without being cramped or having to speak up over your neighbor. Monamie also has adequate places for charging your devices and they never play the music too loud. The coffee selection is inventive and good quality with offerings ranging from butterfly tea to Nutella lattes. The coffee beans are sourced from Onyx Coffee Lab, which they also sell at the register. From the second I walked in the impressive style of Monamie gave me a smile. The diversely fun art on the walls, the warm lighting, the contrasty blue coffee bar, the comforting background music and the overall upscale style all were welcoming to me and provided a calm atmosphere to start my day. I ordered a quadshot on ice and a breakfast sandy to-go and both were great. I was very impressed with the fresh bread on the breakfast sandwich and I thought that the bold flavors of the espresso rival (or exceed) my favorite places in town.
