Open since 1983 this little diner attached to Brackett Field Airport has some of the best views of any diner that I’ve ever been to. I will say that the food is not very memorable, but the location and experience was. Inside is like stepping into a time capsule. You walk by telephone booths and newspaper stands to get into the restaurant which also looks like it is preserved in the early 1990s. It is attached to a giant free parking lot so parking is very easy and plentiful. Our server was also very nice and everything that we ordered came out pretty fast.

We were lucky enough to get a table outside right by the air field and watched many planes take off and land, which was the highlight of our meal. The food itself was so so, but definitely not bad. We started off with a Cinnamon Roll, which was pretty small and not very fluffy but still had some nice flavors. For our breakfast, we chose the Kitchen Sink Omelette, which was good although it wasn’t blended. The omelette was just folded over the meat so every time you would cut into it everything would spill out. Also, there wasn’t much seasoning or flavors. We also ordered the French Toast, which was a bit better and tasted as expected. I really wanted to like the food more because I really like the scenery, but I feel that this place is worth visiting more for the views...

This is by far one of the places with the worse service ever. When we got there, there were a few open tables, we put our name down (2 people, so not even the large group excuse), we chatted with some others that were there and they had been waiting for 1hr, mins you there are open tables and tables that just needed to be bussed. We got sat down 40 min after we arrived. They took our drink order and were told by the waitress to order asap because the food was going to take a while, it did, about another 40 min for it to come out. While we waited for our food, we got our drinks and never saw our waitress again. Asked for a drink refill when she came back to bring the food, refill took another 10 min, completely forgot about my friends refill, and came back with a room temp can (no cup of ice or anything), completely forgot about the ranch my friend asked for and never saw her again until she brought the check. Real pushy too for a tip when we went to pay. I cannot recommend this place simply because of the service, for as busy and big as this place is, definitely not understaffed (3 waitress’ and about 4 cooks in the kitchen for about 20-25 people at the restaurant) so I don’t know what...

We had been here years ago, it was very good. This time not so much. We always expect a wait on a Sunday, so that was not a problem. Either the Hostess was having a bad day or, she was extremely overwhelmed. Never once did she greet me, smile, or make eye contact. I felt like I was bothering her. I too am a Hostess, I always try to make people feel welcome and let them know I appreciate them coming to our restaurant. She was short and downright rude. I almost left. We waited two hours to be seated. Once seated, waited a bit more for coffee, and for our order to be taken. Our server was very good, she kept us updated on the status of our order, which did take quite awhile. The food was good and hot. We had a very hard time getting refills on coffee. I guess they were having a problem with the dishwasher in the back so they had to close early, they were wanting people to leave. Two cups of coffee, I was afraid to ask for another and felt rushed to eat my food. Not sure why the dining area had to be cleared since the problem was in the back?? We may try again during the week. Maybe the Hostess will be having a...

I’d been wanting to take my daughter here for some time after going to Maniac Mike’s in Upland earlier this year, which was such a cool experience. This place is similar, just not as good. We asked to be seated outside so we would see the airplanes, and admittedly we were a total group of nine, but the wait took so long. It was over an hour before we were seated, but all good. We asked to sit outside so that’s on us. The issue is there were barely any airplanes to watch which is kind of the point of the restaurant. The inside of the restaurant looked much cleaner than the outside. The napkins at our table were wet, the server brought out the wrong juice for the kids initially and then dropped sausage on the way to our table. These aren’t huge issues and they were quickly resolved but it doesn’t leave a great first impression. I ordered the Sink Burrito which was good and everyone else enjoyed their food so for that, I’ll say 3 stars, but I don’t think there’s any reason to come back.
